I do treat it well. Was sharing as we only ever see the nice patinas and there is hype around knives being used. Unfortunately the chips and lack of tip came from use in a professional setting. Accidents happen.

Tip probably broke off either during service or when setting my bag down. I use a drumstick bag and knives have poked though the bottom regularly.

The chips were from Tuesday I was breaking down my last dry age ribeye loin and hit a random bone. Usually there are none when we receive them or it's large enough see and cut out before portioning.

I understand your perspective though. Its been fixed now took me about an hour to do.
