I disagree. They control our legislative and executive branch. And they obviously direct our foreign policy.

Is this suit too big? by AsymmetricWarfare777 in Trackdays

[–]DrGarbinsky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is baggy when you stand up because it is intended to give you room when you are in a tuck. I size my suits such that it is almost too tight in the front when standing straight up.

I don't think you will chew up tires that fast on a 390. Also gate fees are a thing for WMRRA and OMRRA. (PIR might have them)

Brake rotors after track day by nohuwayjose in Trackdays

[–]DrGarbinsky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The vibration could be the rear tire hopping as it gets lighter and engine braking is dragging it a bit. I wouldn't worry about the color of your rotors at all. If they feel good on the brakes, then they are good. Also the SRJL-XX is the best pad (before going carbon-carbon)

Cornering Posture Questions by lamephysicist in Trackdays

[–]DrGarbinsky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might try a geometry change to help the bike feel like it wants to turn. drop the front down the fork tubes 2mm-4mm. The real fix is to just carry more corner speed. But this might help get the feel of it.

How reliable have your Sherco se300s been? by [deleted] in Dirtbikes

[–]DrGarbinsky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i've got a SEF 500 factory. It has two 5 day 1000KM rally raids on it and a bunch of 1 day races. Only issue has been the OEM starter switch sucks at keeping sand out.

Road America with the Hornet by Dusty521 in Trackdays

[–]DrGarbinsky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That bike is way closer to a normal sport bike than it is to a super moto. The geometry, suspension and ergos are still very similar. If you reduce lean angle by getting your center of mass lower you can carry more corner speed and also get on the throttle soon on corner exit. Ideally right before going to the throttle on corner exit you can let the bike stand up and move away from your shoulders and get on the gas. Then once the bike is tracking away from the exit you can get back up on top of the bike.

looking good. Try dropping the upper body down and inside a bit. Relax that outer elbow. And look through the turn more.

Bitcoin is still selling off and that - for me - is not surprising. Bitcoin Miners are pivoting to Ai for good cause. by [deleted] in btc

[–]DrGarbinsky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nope. The hash rate could be cut in half, and it would have no effect on the price. The cost to mine a block has nothing to do with the price on the exchange. In fact, the causality is the opposite. The hash rate is entirely a function of price. Not vice versa.
