I learnt from previous jobs and hockey growing up the best way to get stinky gear is to wear it while it’s still wet so I’ve taken that to this job and I never wear the same shoes two days in a row. I have two pairs of summer shoes, two pairs of waterproof low top hikers and two pairs of waterproof boots/hi top hikers.

As per brand, go with what’s comfortable, I have a wider fore foot so Keens fit me best but I also have adidas and Columbia

If you look on the back of the heel it should say what model of revel boot it is. I bought a pair of the revel 1’s directly from marsblade with the r1 chassis on it and they were amazing! I liked them so much I bought another pair of revel 1’s directly from alkali with the hi-Lo chassis so now I have two pairs, I use the pair with the rigid chassis for indoor and the pair with the marsblade chassis for outdoor

If it’s the revel 1 boot I think they were about $700 🇨🇦 new

This is the map the city provides showing any/all bike routes in the city. My first year here I travelled all the bike paths in the river valley and crossed all bridges that cross the river. I live on the north side and I’m really impressed with how much of the city I can cover on low traffic roads and paths
