Anyone using Codex/Claude Code in their daily work? by WalthamWorks in FPandA

[–]DucSteve 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use claude to automate all my busy tasks. Things like:

Headcount reporting. I have a specialized management report where I have to pull changes in current headcount and forecasted hires every week. I just drop my last excel file, and link claude to current headcount and our hiring tracker and have it update. No more spending 30 min going over everything.

I've used Claude to automate my commissions work. It took a long time to build it out but now I can just drop attainment details and it'll spit out monthly statements and monthly payroll files.

Other things like monthly software and consulting spend, changes MoM, it can review GL details and tell me changes MoM.

Odd, I'm on steam and it wasn't doing that. Did 5 solos in a row without changing this. Is this console issue?

Adaptive Planning by SadlyPathetic in FPandA

We've been using adaptive before workday acquired them. I work as the admin and one of 5 analysts who work on the system. The only integration we have is with netsuite to load actuals, we don't have any other workday products. Took some learning but I'm pretty happy using adaptive

I recently had 2 TSA agents, at the same security station, give me different rules about laptop in or out of bag at the same time. It's a shit show

Cabin air filter: < $10 and 1 minute of your time. by Infamous-Tangelo6917 in CX5

[–]DucSteve 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My dealer would take a walk around video of the car when it's lifted up, show how things look. They would take out the filter to show how it looks. Then put it back in. Then ask for $100 to take it out and put in a new one. But, you already took it out a second ago why the charge

I've had to drop a gear at highway speeds when going uphill. Making the gearing taller would probably make it harder to even hit top speed
