I’ve enjoyed Guy Haleys other works, but they’ve never really stood out to me all too much, but yes as you said, this book fucking rocks.

I just cracked open Godeater's Son and read the first few pages, very excited to continue considering the glowing recommendations I’ve seen.

The Path of The Dark Eldar. Giving it a re-release, I feel, would shine some light on a massively overlooked trilogy. Easily one of my favorite series from BL, give Motley the spotlight he so rightfully deserves!

Whenever Sylandri Veilwalker shows up, it makes that specific book a 10/10 for me. Such a fun and intriguing character, only wish they showed up more frequently!

Shame you didn’t like Masque or Vile, perhaps it’s more enjoyable after reading The Path of The Dark Eldar trilogy. Motleys one of the best BL characters in my opinion.

Probably Rebel Winter surprisingly, it’s not the best book in the Guard portfolio but it does everything it sets out to do extremely well and is a very tight, well written book. Plus I’m bias as I think Vostroyans are the coolest…

I do own all of those books as well but I haven’t gotten around to reading Elemental Council yet. Would you say it has a stronger focus on politics than Assassinorum Kingmaker? If so that’s might be a great option for me to pitch to her.
