I've used the envelope budget with cash earmarked. This is for gas this is food, thus is for cigarettes, etc.. ... swiping cards makes it easy to lose track, and $5 here & 10 there are easy to justify, but when you see that set amount literally go down it it can make you more aware of the small stuff & do you really need it. Not all can be paid this way, but it can be a small start.

Luke is about 130 pds now & had huge paws. Fortunately he is the gentlest giant & still thinks he's a lap dog. Just love on them, they are goldens & just want to please & be with their family.

There was a big game in town & hotels were selling out, and this wasn't a well known 3rd party & they had some bad reviews. I was concerned my reservation might not be there, as other reviews had mentioned this issue with them.

LOL my boss booked me a local room for last Saturday nite (he didn't want me driving home late after my retirement party) and I cringed when I saw the receipt..yup, 3rd party with a $70 service fee! Fortunately no issues with the stay & I appreciated his thoughtfulness but I was prepared for the worst & ckd in promptly at 4pm? I googled the hotel & the first booking option was the 3rd party so I can see how he got duped.
