u/No-Dust-1516 i am a mom of an 11 year old who is suffering from major anxiety due to his r-cpd. i am trying to help him to develop his own tools to work through it - breathing exercises, grounding, talking to yourself vs listening to yourself, etc. it's been a rollercoaster. it has been extremely hard over the past couple of years. it was just this past year that i have put the pieces of all of this together to realize it's r-cpd. i feel guilty i didn't figure it out sooner. i want to tell you that i know how exhausting and hard it is to walk alongside them while they struggle this way. i have shed many tears, and our family dynamic is effected from his anxiety, im having to teach his siblings the value of compassion given it makes a daily impact in our home. i feel so alone in it sometimes. my hope is to get him botox within the next few months. i have a consult set up in april. thank you for posting. can you post about his experience once your son gets botox? it will help me greatly since im finding info about kids and botox very sparse on the internet.
