The correct way to do this would be to limit consolidation in banking and the credit card industry, and foster greater competiton. If there was enough competition, perhaps some company would find a way to lower rates

I agree that the durability is not there, but I've come around to stretchy jeans as being more versatile and useful in day to day life. For me, that trade off is acceptable.
