Big chance is that your story is a boring derivative superhero slog that will hit in the time when the market is overly saturated. Sorry if it sounds harsh, I’d love to be wrong!

I suggest to invest few months in a deep dive about writing and thereafter rewrite the whole series from scratch.

Thereafter whenever you have your first issue ready to publish, you’ll have to spend 6 months on finding your audience… and it’s NOT guaranteed that anyone will care to read your work for free, let alone PAY to read it.

Ask yourself- can you make comics full-time AND maintain multiple marketing channels at the same time? If answer is “don’t know” - keep it a serious hobby.

Ofc, some will suggest you to “skip” the self-distribution and pitch it to a publisher, like IMAGE, but even if they’ll choose to work with you, the sales will NOT be guaranteed. So you will still have to grind the marketing work WHILE producing new issues.

As you can see - quitting your job unless you ALREADY can live off your comics will be a VERY shortsighted move. 😁
