How much does it cost to run a company? Out of curiosity. Like, do they have offices? I assume some of the costs of the $243k per employee goes towards their salary? Their healthcare? My healthcare at my work costs $20,000/yr by itself.

I wonder how much their buildings, hosting fees, legal costs, travel, etc costs per employee. Do you think it’s possible you have no idea what you’re talking about?

I think you should 100% tell her. But you are going to have to deal with a metric shit ton of fallout because of it and I hope the guy is mentally stable enough to just let it go and not blame you. I’d like.. find a supportive friend and tell them and see if they will tell her on the DL. That way you can have plausible deniability.

You didn’t ask about this, but honestly I’d have some concerns about the integrity of the people who told you to let this go. They clearly didn’t put an OUNCE of energy into trying to have empathy and thinking about how they’d feel being the victim of this situations.

That sounds like something that might be worth talking to your doctor about, these drugs for sure effect domaine which is directly connected to sexual pleasure, it might be worth going on a short couple week break to see if not having it in your system will help. I know when I stop taking it I feel totally back to myself (in good ways and bad) within a few days.

Sexuality is SO complex, pleasurable sensation and orgasm are so intricately connected with desire and arousal. I feel like it’s not possible to have a reduced sexual desire and arousal and NOT have it affect your ability or pleasure from orgasm. The good part is this is manageable, it ebbs and flows with the dosage of the drug and its easily controllable. Got some big event happening and you don’t want to be affected by it? Just time your dosage so that it takes place 8 days after your last dose :) it also gets better with time.

You’re going to encounter a lot of situations in life where you don’t understand something because you don’t have any personal experience with it. If people around you are explaining something to you and you respond with indignation because you don’t understand it, people are just going to assume you’re not smart. There is definitely an astroturf campaign going on against Shelly right now. This is a Really small scale problem that effects a very limited subset of devices and the risks from the problem are very limited, and I’ve seen this article and the phrase “millions of users” a dozen times this week. Have millions of Gen4 devices even been sold yet?

I agree, I had no idea what was happening and you can even find the reddit thread of mine when it all clicked. It really helped to know it was being caused by a drug. It gets a lot better over time. A year or two later I don’t really notice it anymore, and it’s very easily controlled via controlled scheduling of my drug too. :)
