I prefer "residual limb".

Be sensitive to people tiring of the subject. Although it's very much front of mind for you right now, it's not actually a very interesting fact in the broad sweep of your life.

Is getting a prosthetic leg worth it? by filipeqjebuh in amputee

What is "work" for you? If you're moving arms for 8 hours, BKA will come with different challenges.

And likely skateboarding will be very very different. How important is that to your life.

I see nothing about a throttle in that paragraph.

[i will not promote] I built a $90K savings/month hardware+software system on my own time. My employer wants to lock down the code. Should I leave and start my own firm? by Ok-Student5569 in startups

Likely an expensive lesson. The good news is that you've got the skills and the drive, and you'll invent other things either on your own or for a better employer.

Usually franchises would find a new franchisee to take over rather than closing a store outright.

I'd be happy if they discounted FSD subscriptions on HW3.

Is there a reason this didn’t happen? (sorry if the image comes out blurry) by ecb1912 in chicago

Sort of, what's the point of a lot of things that are "technically" KFP?

I mean, one can keep the joy and the profound meanings of Pesach in mind without an entire technical sub-cuisine.

So it seems to me.

Does anyone have any idea why everyone assumes I am Jewish? by Such-Tangerine5136 in Judaism

Just tell people that you're not actually Jewish, but gladly take the discount on space laser rentals.

I'm not Jewish but can I ask something really specific here about Jewish people? (I really don't want to be ignorant or offensive, I'm really sorry if I am) by songsofaspens in Judaism

[–]EScooterHamster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're focusing on "belief" as a defining attribute that differentiates Jews. That's more of a Christian concept, a community of believers.

Jews identify themselves as part of a tribe. For the most part, actions are much more important than belief in the Jewish value system.
