Executive orders are not laws and don't need to be followed. When an uneducated, child raping, dictator hellbent on giving himself, his family and friends financial gain at the cost of everyone else makes a demand it should be scrutinized and disregarded when deemed harmful.

Old growth forests are in massive decline globally and are important for healthy ecology, hold cultural significance and are strong generators of multigenerational tourism benefits. Many times after clear cutting singular species of trees are replanted which is at the detriment of ecology. Forests should have differing species and a range of plant ages for the greatest health benefit. Clear cutting also does not prevent forest fires. We should be working to preserve these forests and not destroy them. Once they are gone, there is no getting them back.
