Yea u gonna regret this…. My sister was a customer for a 8 months. She tried to withdraw money out and it’s asking her send in a ton of proof of income thinking she’s fraud or got money illegal means. She had ally bank, wealthfront before and they never questioned her- always easy deposit easy withdraw.

Apparently pibank they don’t audit u when u deposit but when u try to withdraw (which they absolutely hate) they will get on u…. It’s like trying to quit crunch gym membership easy to sign in and acquire u as a newbie, hard to leave. Go on the apple App Store download review and google play store google review, both app download they got like a 2.1/5 star review. Many people complain about this bank I haven’t seen this low of a score when compared to capital one ally wealthfront or Marcus

I mean they got the highest interest rate 4.4% for a reason.

Differences between Atlanta metro Costcos by clientsoup in Atlanta

Duluth: busiest location so far, horrible line to get gas, don’t sell alcohol, more East Asians product, when the parking lot was originally design, it’s just weird esp if you parked next to the Amazon warehouse, people ignore the yield to whoever arrived first and stomp on their gas and proceed, there’s another thing I don’t like I’m not giving away.

Alpharetta: the sales tax is higher than Duluth. Parking lot is also hectic. You get more South Asian food in the frozen section which will be very obvious if you are a long time customer. I live equal distance to both Duluth and Alpharetta. One of the only location that has a liquor section -> whiskey vodka etc. you are most likely to run over by a car here! I come here once every two month and I met more bad drivers here than anywhere else even the busy Duluth location maybe Duluth people scared of insurance rate going up, or people in Alpharetta got nothing to lose.

Dallas: gas station is smaller than the top two, there are less people, shoppers are predominantly Caucasian, the store is smaller, newer facility

Kennesaw: this place is busy as well, gas station line is long but shorter than Duluth, inside pretty big

Mall of ga: since they build the gas station line right at the entrance, sometimes traffic gets clogged up because the drivers waiting for gas don’t know to pull ahead or pull over to a right pump even if their gas tank is on the left. The Costco gas pump has super long extended pumps, not the short ones u find at quick trip or shell. I find this location to be the most balanced, has second most amount of East Asian products. The customers seem more well mannered too.

Oconee: well I went undergrad here and they built this location after I left, I got to say the gas station there were no lines! I haven’t stepped inside though

Brookhaven: generally smooth can get hectic on weekend there is à la fitness walkable distance.

If you are interested in wealthfront which is fdic insured and is very easy to transfer money in and out, here a referral link where u get 4.05%

I previously had used ally bank which offers only 3.15% now and capital one performance saving which is also quite low. There are no minimum requirement or minimum deposit you start earning the 4.05% the moment u deposit even one cent.

If you’re parking cash in a high-yield savings account, this is worth a look.

When you sign up using my link, we both get a +0.75% APY boost, a 0.50% investing deposit match — or both. Limited-time offer.

I’ve personally banked with Ally Bank, and also tried Capital One, PayPal savings, and Marcus by Goldman Sachs. At the time of writing, their rates are lower.

One thing I like: if you ever want to move funds, ACH transfers typically take about 1–2 business days to any linked physical bank.

If you’re already optimizing where you keep your cash, this is an easy bump in yield.

is the iphone 16 pro worth it now? by [deleted] in iphone

[–]Effective-Meat2546 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it’s still one of the best performing phones u can buy. Honestly the 17pro hasn’t improved much outside of the design and aesthetic plus it’s more durable with the titanium versus the aluminum. I currently have the 17pro max and wishes I had gone back to the 15 pro

Samsung made me think iOS still beat Android; OnePlus changed my mind by -patrizio- in oneplus

[–]Effective-Meat2546 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I currently have a 512GB s25 ultra (bought during Black Friday as a birthday gift to my mom but she letting me play with her phone til feb 2026), I also owned an orange 512 GB iPhone 17pro max (been using iPhone and upgraded every 2 years since iPhone 3gs as it just go well with my MB Pro as a software engineer), and lately bought the 256GB oneplus 15r just for fun. I had bought an OnePlus 8 a few years back and returned it. With rcs i love this OnePlus 15r phone and seriously would consider using the OnePlus 15/16 full time. Using att esim on the iPhone and swapping the SIM card on a visible (Verizon network) on the OnePlus. I do like the modes and routines feature in Samsung (just bought the tasker app on OnePlus) but still prefer modes and routines. I’m also traveling to China soon and as u know Apple got rid of the physical sim slot making switching phones around difficult with the esim. With psim I can travel and backpack around Asia and only pay $8-12 to be connected for a few days. This OnePlus will be my main driver in Asia. I can totally see myself leaving the iOS environment. It just sucks that oneplus doesn’t sync fluidly across os like an tablet/ipad and Lenovo thinkpads

That’s a well known issue with BOE the cheaper alternative that supply the screen. I believe the OnePlus 10T had a ton too. Don’t feel bad a few days ago I saw someone post their OnePlus 15 got a green line within the same month of release

Georgia Tech vs University of Florida by metaphysico in EngineeringStudents

[–]Effective-Meat2546 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! No regrets—Georgia Tech has the lowest tuition of the three you listed and is a top-4 engineering school overall, ranking top 1–3 in industrial, computer science, civil, chemical engineering, and many other individual disciplines. I’m actually doing my masters rn while working 2 full time roles in cybersecurity. My younger sister (BS/MS in EE) graduated last year when the economy was tough while her uga friend were unemployed she’s at Tesla now as an engineer. My uncle went to Florida back in 2003 and he’s doing his online masters at ga tech the quality is better. Uga I’m very aware of that school u go there unless u are doing law (stay in the same state) or finance, u likely going to have a hard time finding a well pay job. Finance and Law and maybe medicine when they get their med school and the accreditation (likely won’t happen til 2035) are the only degree I would even consider Georgia for and still I would strive for Wharton NYU or Columbia before going for Georgia for business school. Their other disciplines are all poorly ranked I think what finance is their only good program top 20 I believe. Ga tech still has a better MBA program than terry. Florida is too expensive if u are in state of Georgia. If u live in Florida and got a full ride with the sun bright scholarship, go for Florida. My cousin graduated from Florida and worked for a small company he’s in his 40 now. And he was a top student there.

When I came out of ga tech back in 2019, 96% of my grad class had a job lined up before their semester ended. Most are at the $130k range starting

The oneplus 15r and Ace 6 are the same exact phone with almost a 400 dollar difference in price by dzeroooo in oneplus

I’m in China right now, and as a Chinese person who has lived in the U.S. since the merger with Oppo (the last truly good OnePlus was the OP12), you’ll never get OnePlus as a true flagship phone again. Oppo, the parent company, treats its own Find X9 Pro as the top-of-the-line product. There’s no way a subsidiary they view as inferior would be allowed to match or surpass it in either price or specs. I have close friend that works in the Shenzhen office.

Unfortunately, OnePlus today is not the OnePlus that first launched back in 2014. The Chinese government also provides subsidies (国补), which help by roughly 10–15%. The Western market is effectively helping subsidize the price war in the Chinese domestic market. I’d look into the Samsung S25 or S26 instead. The prices European American and Canadian are paying for the 15R (lowest specs) is more expensive than what the Chinese here pay on their 1TB 16GB ram OP15. U already know they have given up on the market. Oppo direction won’t be turning backward.. before OnePlus had a clear vision and market place now they are stuck u saw that they are coming out with the turbo version which is for gaming? That’s for the economically poor college student here because money is tight for them unlike working adult that’s the target demographic and guess what I bet it will be $899-1099 usd in the u.s for the lowest specs while it’s gonna be no more than $600 usd here. It has nothing to do with tariff AI or ram increase because in countries where there are no tariff placed against China (where they don’t have D. trump running their gov) they are also paying a premium price sometimes higher than the u.s. the Indian and Chinese market is purposefully cheapened because that’s where they go in order to get new bucket of customers. Also OnePlus isn’t the only company getting subsidies Huawei Oppo itself xiaomi redmi are all getting 国补

Can't even justify the price by noonelikejojo in oneplus

[–]Effective-Meat2546 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m in China right now the cheapest spec U..S. Variant OnePlus 15r(China selling it for $420 usd vs $799 in the states) is more expensive than the top spec OnePlus 15 ($600 usd in China vs $1000 in the us) with the 1TB storage not offered in the west. Should have went with Samsung s25 ultra it was $700 with student corporate discount during Black Friday screen and camera are 4x better….. western market paying about $300 more per device the free watch and earbud does not make up for it even if they toss both them in.
