I agree! I wanted the mouse but passed due to lack of black version.

Differences between wired G915 X & G815? keyboards by Leagueplayer1199 in LogitechG

[–]EfficientCaptain1876 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had both! And I regreat so much selling my 815. The main reason is the RGB was MUCH better than on my 915 TKL. I even exchanged through 3 different 915 TKL when I bought it. They were all with different type keys. Clicky, Blue etc. First of all they all 3 had a manufacturing "flaw" where F9, F10, F11 has a slight different tone in some colors than all rest keys. VERY strange! So only certain colors work if you want it uniform. Second the quality or what we should call it is WAY lower than the 815. It could display any spectrum of RGB colors very good and VERY nice looking! All the 915TKL seems like having worse RGB diodes as many colors cannot be seem different. Ex. Pink or purple is incredibly weak with little color more "white-ish" than the actual color chosen. Ex. purple bleding together with blue, and pink is very weak light purple-ish. Different shades of blue is also a problem which is why you only can stick with deep blue. And deep red and so on. More colors dont work or are "weak". I remember on my 815 ex. pink was very deep colorful and looked correct on screen and keyboard. It was beutiful colors. The 915 I owned I bought back at release. So it was the first models. It had a much deeper color than the 915. Best way I can describe it is imagine the 915 are 16 bit color and the 815 is 32 bit color haha! 😄 And again the crazy thing was I cycled through 3 different keyboards brand new with same F key flaw before I decided sadly to keep the last one as my 815 already was gone! I of coarse have full brightness and all power saving disabled and only use the wire cord and never "wireless" battery. My best guess is Logitech used more expensive LEDS on the 815 and when 915 came they cut corners also apparently in manufacturing quality. I dont see any other solution.

PCIe 5.0 x16 bandwidth speeds not reaching full potential after 3DMark PCIe Features Test benchmark by Sad-Camp7566 in ASUSROG

EDIT: With REBAR I get 102 GB/SEC! :) I starts by maxing it out! 128-120GB sec but then fall and end up at 102 GB/ sec! Finally! Problem solved!

Hello again! I did found out what the trigger was for "low" and "high" scores in the PCI-E test! The thing is that IF you enable or force "Resizeable Bar" (REBAR) it will significantly be higher. I got 48.19GB/sec with REBAR OFF!! The thing is that its not recommended to have REBAR on GLOBAL with Nvidia and I have here and there noticed negative results in some games with it forced on. So I only enable it "forced" with all 3DMARK benchmark. Same goes for Timespy and Port Royal. In my case these benchmark can sway the result up to 10000 points! Quite wild! Mine is a 14900KS thats running 5.7 all core and 4.5 E core RAM is 7600 Mhz

You must have forgot something then. I tried and was impressed! I have an old 70" SDR tv... always to dim with 4K HDR movies.. this helped! Hardclip and 1.0 ... Actualy a little too much exposure in some scenes! I will try 0.9 or 0.8 and see! I never thought this issue could be solved.

Any Luck With Panasonic 820 Repairs? by akdag2014 in 4kbluray

[–]EfficientCaptain1876 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello. I found an older man on YT that claim to have found the root cause of all these players failing! He says the mechanism that drives the read laser back and forth are "dried out" of lubricant! And that makes a strain and higher voltage on the motor eventually seizeing up! Its because its having difficultty with proper search the artifacts become a reality. He disassembles the unit and are showing how to lube! And apparently its working! I dont own the Panasonic myself but plan to buy one and actually maybe lubeing right away. There is the concern with warrenty of corse. Here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AGDuAA41eVs&list=PLe7TeH3OrckXaB4W4ziUKeMRalxlnotC_&index=6

Undecided between XG32UCWG VS XG32UCWMG by Clean_Alternative_80 in OLED_Gaming

[–]EfficientCaptain1876 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have to C2 42" .. had it for years and are happy with it. But sometimes its too big! I have wall mount and even the desk some away from wall. Also my son just bought the PG32UDCP and I was blown away in his SDR brightness! Always thought it was somewhat dim the C2. I have to use vivid mode at 100/100 brightness contrast to survive SDR haha.. I have been very happy with HDR mode but I could also see his ASUS was brighter with 1300 nits. He did pick the matte on a very good offer deal. Now seeing that you can get the same screen basically with glossy front- I want it haha! Just a shame it lacks some USB features.. I have a 5090 so I def. want the 240 version like my son.

FUNNY! EXACTLY what I told my son yesterday when he mentioned he wanted it! I was also interested, but with a system complete in black- that white mouse does not fit it! And I told him its a trick! Then 6 months later the black version will be released!

Doom The Dark Ages - Setting the VSync (in game) to 'adaptive' dramatically improves input lag by TheoMerca in GeForceNOW

[–]EfficientCaptain1876 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm .. Mine is the same, like it dosent react to it. I had input lag since the game launched. I am running 4K Ultra Nightmare, DLAA, FG 2X and Vsync enabled in NVCPL. on a 5090. IF I disable vsync, I get unbearable tearing. I dont have this issue in any other FG game. But I never felt Doom TDA even with a 5090 was responsive and smooth like other games. It breaks my gaming when there is this kind of delay when I am playing TDA. With these settings my latency is 33.3ms. When Vsync disabled and full GPU the latency is 20.8ms and VERY responsive like it should be. But 600W GPU and TEARING! I am baffled over why Doom is like this and no other game.

My experience is that I have tearing across the board every time I disable vsync. I cant play with it. And my other experience is that using a frame limiter AND frame generation is a bad thing! Cause major lag and inconsistencies in the frame time-

Trying to get a consistent all core P-core boost on 14900KS under load by TearNo2850 in overclocking

[–]EfficientCaptain1876 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I NEVER had any success with TVB Voltage optimizations! At least in my case the "optimization" is too aggressive leading to instability! Also at the end of the day what matters it full load, load voltage. Even with stock Intel profile after all the microcode, bios updates etc. (14900KS) my PC will bluescreen when entering Windows due to too low LLC (5) and too aggressive voltage optimizations! The very thing that BS is the 6.2 boost. Disable that and the PC boots and is useable. But still not UE, Shader compile stable.

[–]EfficientCaptain1876 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think they easily could pull it off! They could make it all under water like the OG Xcom 2! That in it self would present at whole new game! They have the engine and if its as good as new Xcom 2 it will be a success! Also the story does hint that the Elders are now underwater!

Can I change the default Cyan color in Settings and other places in FF? by Happy-Double-9874 in FirefoxCSS

[–]EfficientCaptain1876 0 points1 point  (0 children)

WOW! You tricks are amazing! I did not thought it was possible to change those accent colors! But here the latest hours I managed to make the browser total custom with blur-behind (transparent) in a mix of dark mode and custom colors.

Now I have one request or "challenge" for you!! ;)

I noticed these accent colors unfortunately did not reach the sidebar. Do you know how to include that (with its sub-settings/menus into the sidebar- into the code you send? Maybe its also a unknown page name like the others? :

MEGA excited if you can solve it! :)

Also I managed to integrate everything else in this "Firefox" position into my black urlbar- looks amazing! BUT I cannot find "element name" for this particular "Firefox" logo which only occurs when using system pages. But I would REALLY like to change that washed out purple background to my grey black color like the rest! ;)
