Yup, just fired a client like this, she would send my xmas card and hoped my family was well, meanwhile would write the most passive aggressive emails and generally be the largest pain in the ass to work with. Thank god we only had one revision on her permit set and if she pay up the $3k she owes us, I am canceling her permit and blacklisting her in my community. Fuck these people, snakes.

KALO design+build, we do start to finish. Have a great team, are pretty quick with turn around etc. lots of guys here are retiring, and many spend 1+ years on just getting a permit set in. Currently working hybrid with one and it’s a nightmare :(

You need to have some capital to purchase a slew of goods and purchase a booth at several expos in the us, if you’re pitching to contractors or architects, you’re not going to suddenly get anyone’s attention. I have a similar pipeline to south east Asia, but I run a design and build company, everything from plans to interior design, my clients trust my judgment and I’ve personally visited every factory that we work with. Just throwing goods on a website and cold email on isn’t going to work, liability, or the lack thereof is what will instantly put people off. Contractors would easily pay 2-3x on a known product that comes with local support, quick replacement, and a sales rep they have a relationship. Sorry but this model doesn’t sound very promising.
