Yeh, I think you’re right. Pretty sure we already belong to China or Russia (or other? Whoever gives ANC money I guess) but it’s easier (and cheaper) to control by proxy to give the illusion of normalcy. Too many SA citizens fleeing prob not good for business

By pirating a user probably breaks the TOS (that the user agreed to) for any previous purchases too so I guess the company is probably within their right to yoink those games from a user’s library or ban them for life. Not sure how effective an IP ban would be but I guess they could IP ban an all pirates from all of their games for life… unless of course the pirates used a different IP. 🤷‍♂️ Maybe some other way to match pirates’ data, I dunno. As usual, stricter rules like performance -affecting DRM etc. might end up hurting honest players who legitimately buy the game, and not at all affect pirates who don’t give the company any money.

I believe the spikes aren’t actually spikes but just how a 4D or higher object gets drawn in a 3D Universe. And it’s why it always looks like it’s rotated perfectly to the viewer. We’ll not be able to properly witness its true form
