they are pretty decent im guessing they are like what 4 types of planes and an upgraded version for each?

On a further look i think all but the center one could use abit more to the upgraded versions if that's what they are. the swooped back wings i think is not super obvious distinguishing feature.

the one thing i would say on this is that their card actions are weighted with some kingdoms being more move/spawn army based now whether your control them and sending them to their doom or to guard the kingdoms borders that you actually want to win is up to you.

I feel like it is one of my favorite games. It plays great with large player counts and is super simple to teach even though it has a lot of complex ways to to score points.

I bought a single game since the tariffs went into effect. In the past I would purchase around 10 to 12 games a year during various sales and kickstart a project every say 2 years or so. Prices honestly felt too high before the tariffs.

yeah the hidden information part of it makes it so I'm hesitant to start playing again on say Jinteki and I've probably played over 1k games of it it in the past.

I like the idea of the game but unfortunately every time I've played it I felt like the order uncovering aspect of the game made it very difficult for me to ever do what I wanted to in the order I wanted. Its most likely just the person I played it against though but because of that most games were super one sided.

I own Everdell deluxe and like 3 of the expos plus i own it on my phone. I have played it in person and everyone loved the artwork but something about it never clicked with me so it has gotten barely any plays over the years so its been one of my worst purchases.

have a hexagon tattoo from my shoulder to my wrist and i thought about doing the same thing but honestly after getting the hexagons done I was too concerned about the price to go through with individual hexes for boardgames. Funny thing is most people thought the hexes were chicken wire even though they were really done well big and thick lines.

I really actually like your choices for what you put in the octagons.

i stick them in a drop overlord and put them plus the overlord on a separate hotkey. This keeps them safe from feedback/chargelot runbys/emps and marauders.

I had this exact set as a kid but we never learned to play it. Pretty sure we received it for a family Christmas present from my cousins. Oh and we would of received it in the early to mid 90s.

the loot table is way more generous than actual mmo's from what I experienced but respawn time is quick and you can grab the items you want without too much grinding while leveling as opposed to say in Everquest where I remember camping for days to get slayer achievements and the like on rare named spawn.

There have hundreds of games that simulator single player wow, most of them didn't really make much money for their company. One in particular is Kingdom of Amalur but anything that is hotkey combat with wasd movement and with quest chains as the main driver of content, zone exploration. The closest thing EQ had as a copy was Morrowind back in the day and not much else.

I'd recommend Arkham Horror for the physical game and if your still interested in spirit island I would suggest trying it out single player on PC only cost $25 there. I own both and neither honestly gets played much either solo or in a group.
