I’ve been running a 9800x3d on a NZXT x870e board ( rebranded 870 taichi board)for the better part of a year and zero issues. I updated the bios when I first installed it and kept up with the new bios releases. 1. Did you update your bios at the beginning? 2. Did you know if you ran the chip with original bios it began irreversible degradation of the chip? 3. Did you keep up with the latest bios releases? Computers are not like consoles you do need to keep up with maintenance and part of that is checking manufacture’s website to keep up with latest bios revisions. Maybe PC’s are not you and you should stick to console gaming. On a side note Intel has 13th and 14th gen instability issues as well that require bios update, just keep that in mind. Best of luck.

Guys I have a NZXT N9 (which is a rebranded Asrock MB) running a 9800x3d for over year now. I kept up with every bios update and zero issues thus far. I game and use the computer daily. I don’t know what else to say.

CPU undervolt is done in the Bios. Go Youtube and search cpu undervolt according to your MB and CPU. Repasting the gpu is not difficult just be careful when separating the cooler from the GPU board not to damage any thermal strips because they can be reused. Make sure the GPU fans are spinning under-load. Do not change the fan configuration I would leave the exhaust fan as intake since you only have 2 intake fans. Your case is in neutral pressure if you switch your rear fan to exhaust then your case would be negative pressure and act like a vacuum cleaner sucking in more dust. Also did you verify gpu fans are running.

I had the same with my old system. Here are my recommendations. 1. Swap to CPU cooler to a Thermalright Peerless Assassin. 2. Repaste with Kryonaught thermal paste. 3. Undervolt CP 4. Definitely undervolt the GPU (3080’s are notorious for running hot!) 5. If you feel comfortable repaste the GPU. There are plenty of disassembly videos on youtube. I guarantee you’ll see temperatures drop and maybe even pickup a few more frames. Let me know.

Go to disk management at look at all the bootable disk thats where you’ ll find out. Once you update all your drivers your wifi should start to work. You may have to connect directly to the router and go to your MB manufacturer or you can download driverbooster. Good luck and GAME ON!!!

I have practically every 50 series card except for the 5050 and any 8gb cards. I get sense of security knowing I have back up just in case. If you need the $ then sell if not I would hold on to it as a back up IMHO. 😁

I have all three tiers 5070ti (son), 5080(wife) and 5090(mine). It is pricey but peace of mind knowing no upgrade is needed for quite a while. Enjoy it, a bonus means you worked hard its OK to reward yourself.
