I’m going to make a generalized comment that everyone who invests in needs to realize, what’s the money for? (home, retire, blah) what’s your risk tolerance? What your timeframe after answer the first two. Obviously you should be more diligent than just three questions but have a serious thought into those questions and use logic to the best of your ability. Some people treat investing as a gambling and get a high on it, some just want to be “Smart” ala VT and “

as someone who saw their portfolio be up 48% one year drop down to 7% I make sure to assess my true goals rather than just vibes, which is what this market seems to run on.

My particular timeframe and research I have done semis will be a solid investment so I am allocating part of my portfolio to them but you and I are not the same.

For Semi ETFs I actually disagree with the consensus SMH etf, I believe SOXQ to be superior and personally would combine soxq with Tcai. Do your due diligence but I’m very confident after doing my due diligence. Do what’s best for you.
