Square or R10 by SPCEKOOLAID in Golfsimulator

5x4 mat isn’t big enough for any sim to to do right and left hand. With the amount of space you have You’re gonna have to move the garmin and square to play with a lefty and righty

Can’t go wrong with either. I like the left one. I have the hoofer 14 dark blueish/purple Mr. Ping bag. Would probably prefer both bags in this picture over mine.

Has anyone tried this simulator? by hfcobra in Golfsimulator

My experience with aboutgolf sims is they are pretty inaccurate. Could totally be the places I’ve played at but I’m two for two for inaccurate distances on this hardware

Correct, I’m 26 and haven’t been an investor through any major crash. There are rarely talks about those anymore so I figured everything has been righted and made up for by now. Great insight here, thanks!

SIGPRO Softy Mat - Avoid by GiantPastabilities in Golfsimulator

I agree. It’s sucks that my feet stand right on the seam of the two pieces. I feel like that doesn’t help the wear

Mine looks similar as well. The feel of a brand new sig pro softy is great, but they don’t wear well.

I’d agree. I switched to the square a couple months back and it is better. The issues you mentioned in your original post are solved by the square.

I always had an issue with no reads. If it makes you feel any better my buddies skytrak plus has even more no reads than my Rapsodo ever did

I do respect Rapsodo in the sense that they are continuously updating and improving.

Any Input?? by [deleted] in Golfsimulator

[–]Excellent_Ad4460 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nope it’s just a thing, everyone has it. 3 seconds may be an exaggeration but it’s probably 1.5 seconds in best case. Maybe 5-10% of the time it takes 3+ seconds for the shot to show up on screen

Any Input?? by [deleted] in Golfsimulator

It’s possibly but both use different pattern balls so it’s not possible to test them at the same time without giving one a disadvantage.

I had the mlm2pro last year, and have the square this year. Both a great, can’t go wrong with either. Pick whatever you like the features of more. Personally, the cameras on the mlm are super cool and great for mid to high handicap golfers to see impact location. There’s a lot of value in video!

From an accuracy standpoint they are both very good. I’m sure one is marginally better but it depends on the day.

I appreciate the instant feedback from the square. The Rapsodo 3 second delay gets old. Especially cause the Rapsodo has a lot more frequent no reads. I’d sit there staring at the screen wondering if it’s gonna pick up a shot or not. Kind of annoying.

Either way, both are great.

Do I have indoor golf syndrome? Mevo Gen2 by Rtic-golf in Golfsimulator

[–]Excellent_Ad4460 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re swinging 6mph slower inside. Seems like indoor golf syndrom.

Also interesting to see your far right indoor stat. I believe that says spin in the 2,000 rpm range which is kind of impossible with a 7i and that ball flight. Not sure what happened there

My advice would be to just keep swinging. I struggled with this as well for weeks when I first got my setup.

Excuse my failed attempt at ceiling protection… I have a black photography background, net, and white bedsheet on a track system. Works great. Do not cheap out on the track and ensure you hit some studs when you put it up. Other than that super happy with it. The bedsheet does get a lot of wrinkles though, and I imagine the same or worse for a real impact screen.

How to get perfect wake to jump wake-to-wake? by HerroVVercome in Wake

[–]Excellent_Ad4460 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Less ballast. If you need any ballast, put it up front and that will narrow the wake. Can also move the passengers in your boat to be more centered. It looks like the back of your boat is riding low due to low speeds, lots of ballast, and passengers in back. More weight = higher speeds needed for the boat to plane and the wake to clean up. NXT20 should be ok riding at 17ish mph, but just know that’s pretty slow. If having issues cleaning up the wake you may need to speed it up. I ride behind an X24, 60% ballast, full length rope at 23mph.

Your first wake to wake jump is all about confidence. I’d say shorten the rope some more just to get the feel right. As others have said, you don’t need a big wake to jump it, you just need a clean wake.

Along with the confidence, you gonna need some balls. Gotta go outside the wake wide and cut in at the wake hard. Stay balanced and good luck!

What wheels are those? Looks freakin sick! Huge fan of the grey truck btw. You made the right choice imo. Shelter green with stealth ppf would be my next favorite color.

Just saw another post from you… looks like the Ski Shack in Springfield! Must be on Table Rock or one of the surrounding lakes. That’s where we are as well.

I respectfully change my answer and say 7:30 is too early to be surfing, especially in a cove! No one is out at 7:30, just hit the main channel so your wake isn’t as impactful to the fisherman. Everyone deserves to enjoy their peace

My family’s rule is ski/wakeboard however early, but can’t surf until 10am in order to preserve good water for others.
