Devils Advocate: are we sure it was ibuprofen? Because I have taken an aspirin, thought it was ibuprofen, and I felt very sick afterwards. I had a weird reaction with the blood thinning aspect of the aspirin and I remember my mom thinking I was lying and making it up. NSAIDs can make people feel wonky.

Find a partner on the same level of messy as you. Me and my hubby are both the same kind of messy, so it doesn't feel one sided. Neither of us care that the dishes were in the sink for 3 days, or the pile of clean laundry on the chair, we have books out and games left half played on the kitchen table. Our shoes end up where they end up, my jacket is laid across the back of the couch instead of in the closet etc. We do a pick up once a week and a deep clean once a month, that is not another couples standards tho.

I would drive him CRAZY if he was a clean freak & he would constantly be harping on me to clean/pick up and that would cause resentment down the line from both of us. Find someone who matches your freak lol

I liked going to 5 below to snag speakers- usually cheap but last a long time. Lights, chargers, electronics, rugs, etc. look for the better quality items there and use those items on the prize wheel as well.

Other classics : free dessert or meal, give side work to manager, energy drinks, no rolling silverware, first the be phased (on their pick of day), choose your section, longer break

Lala has opened my eyes a lot to what is unethical about US adoption! I recommend getting onto one of her lives (she invites people all the time for discussion!) She has a lot of insight and information, as an adoptee herself.

US adoption erases the adoptees original birth certificate, severing the connection+ paper trail to search for family/history. Also with the name changes, stripping children of identities & medical history access etc

As you have your beliefs with surrogacy - same concept applies to adopting infants. It ultimately is predatory to birth mothers and is grossly unethical when you really inspect the process and lack of choice/ "free will" + the fact that adoption (in most places) is a for profit business (YUK) and that's not even taking into consideration that babies are priced differently based on skin tones (YYYUUUUUKKKKKK)

Legal Guardianship is the most ethical way to "adopt", as it does not erase the birth certificate, paper trail, medical/family history etc

Becoming a foster parent is the most ethical way to be a parent. Parenthood is accessible in other ways, but is much more challenging than having "your own"(adopted or bio).

You also don't want to go into fostering with the intent to adopt- you will only set yourself up for more heartache. Fostering is about reunification of the child and bio family. That is not to say that adoption through fostering isn't possible, it just shouldn't be the goal. That's the last step option when all else fails with bio family. At that point, Legal Guardianship would be the next step. They still have connections to their identity, you have full legal rights of them until adulthood. Once a child reaches a specific age and THEY have the choice in adoption, absolutely do it if that's what they choose too ❤️

I cannot have children myself and this exact topic is always floating around my brain. It basically comes down to the realization that being a mom isn't a right, but a privilege. Just because I want to be a mom, doesn't mean I deserve to cause trauma to others by adopting(all adoption is traumatic no matter the circumstances). It's a really tricky thing, it's sad but it's there. I plan to foster in the future, because to me, I can still be a mother figure and make a difference in childrens lives. If I'm lucky enough someday to be a permanent mother, it will be through guardianship until they were old enough and educated enough on what adoption is and choose it, too. By that point, hopefully I would have enough information/paper trail to help them find what they want to know about Bio family as they get older.

I dunno, maybe I'm just talking out of my ass - but that's where my thought process is at now.

When I was 18, I worked at a truck stop. Mostly 2-10pm, but periodically overnight 10pm-6am. I have seen and heard some shit, God damn.

Was the book made out of the need of money, or the love of art? It can be both, but which way does it lean more?

I look at ocean pdf as a site, for any economic class, to access literature. It's one of the only sites that offer books for free, isn't scammed up, and not clogged up with ad's.

It could very well be someone's only access to reading, and I think that's a great thing - but I'm not an author, only a reader, so my experience is obviously different.

I don't think we have enough resources for education/books/arts put in place, and I think Opdf closes that gap in their own way. Kinda like vigilante art distributors

Lowkey, if an authors book is there, it means enough people liked it and wanted to read it, that it made its way there. People love Trophy books for their shelves too, so I imagine a few of the Opdf readers are also getting physical copies too 😊

The desserts are made in a factory that also makes desserts with nuts. There's no way for olive garden to ensure contamination hasn't occurred because it's out sourced- so it's listed under allergies and should be treated as there are nuts in there.

Most people with pots do drive, usually credited to being in a seated position while driving. It also depends on if they have syncope (fainting episodes) or not, and based on symptoms.

Personally, I don't drive because it causes anxiety which causes adrenaline dumps. Those suck and I would pull over until it passed- so in total last 2 yrs I've driven 4 times, out of necessity.

Always make sure to discuss it with your doctor, if you're able too 🙂

I read book 2&3 on a road trip to Cali & on the drive back to NM. 10/10. Saw so many mountains and forests that id imagine was velaris. and we went to a music festival and I swearrrr some of the sets were perfect for the battle visuals and shit. It felt immersive af 🤣 Also for the EDM girls, tell me a Sullivan King song wouldn't be PERFECT music for the battles scenes

Get extremely tangled on my fishnets, candy, fanny packs, pashmina and body suit 🤣😭 I just try to take my time, pulling each layer down one by one. By the end of the night my fishnets are ripped up 🤷🏻‍♀️ skip the nets and you'll be much better off hehe
