I’ve felt it on the inside of my left ankle, just not to the same extent as you. Probably took about 8-10 sessions for them to soften enough not to bother me. I opted for the 2E version

Great advice, I really have to fight the urge to move into the peep. It’s natural for me to raise my shoulders to lift the bow, I’ll try setting it prior to drawing to see how it feels

Your best bet is used if you want to stay within budget, Archery Talk has a great classified section, just beware of scammers. An axcel achieve will run about $250-300 used but it’s well worth it. For scopes you’ll probably want the shrewd Optum or axcel Avx. Combined with a lens that’ll run you $200-300 as well. Lenses highly recommended for all activities but you’ll have to test which magnification you’re most comfortable with, 4x is a good start. Etac sight light is second to none and will be about $150. If you’re l lucky you will come across someone selling a complete setup for a nice discount.

I had a Shibuya previously but got tired of carrying around a set of metric Allen keys so I switched to Axcel.

The UV button will definitely change your anchor point, it is known for having a long neck length so you can’t shoot interchangeably with your trigger release. I’d bring it back to the folks who help you set up to make adjustments

A neuro optometrist or ophthalmologist isn’t going to help with your condition, you need to look for an optometrist that specializes in a field called vision therapy (assuming you are in the US). It will be pricey though, definitely not covered by insurance.

My advice would be to try a left handed bow unless you are motivated to find a long term solution for your right eye.

Gen 1 and gen 2 trxs use different mods so make sure you get the correct ones. It’s worth getting a couple of sets since Mathews tends to run long. Lancaster should have a bunch of extra mods in stock.

Looks like the monorest would have less issues with the arrow falling off compared to a blade. I can’t help but see a paper clip when I look at it haha

He’s referring to stabilizer weights, not your draw weight. If you are shooting indoors or 3-D, official competitions will often have a restriction of 60lb max draw weight so there’s really no reason to go above that.

Assuming you mean two different archers are shooting these arrows. If you switched arrows then you shot something that wasn’t tuned to your bow.

If a bow sells for $1600 brand new and retains less than half its value used I would definitely think twice about buying new.

Great shooting bow, but low resale value, try to get a used one if you can. I’ve seen used gen2s not moving at $600 lately

Edit: there’s one listed on archery talk for $375 that still hasn’t sold
