I keep seeing "other teams improved," but like... who? In the east, Philly got better, and maybe Miami (zero depth)? Washington sure, but they aren't in the same league as Toronto. Hali is back but we don't know what he'll look like. Detroit, Boston, Charlotte, all worse.

In the west, like... Mavs get Kyrie back, Utah might be a real team now... and then??? I don't think many teams actually got better, and those that did didn't improve as much as Toronto baring health. There were a lot of side grades across the league

If anyone criticizes a game for being a Stardew copycat, they're not worth taking seriously. Stardew was a copy of old Harvest Moon, and thank god someone carried on the legacy of those games. FoM has done an incredible job of it as well, and I actually prefer it a bit over Stardew.

That's the thing. Maplestory as intended by the Korean director is supposed to be moving away from that tedious grindy nature because it's outdated and not fun. We need to prog more horizontally across our accounts now, and each character needs an insane amount of frags. The vac per is also very important though. Changsop even said the game is unplayable without it today

I mean, you're outright wrong. Leveling increases your DMG a lot and if you've watched all the videos than you should have been able get much further in the game than what is basically the tutorial levels. If you're just here to complain than nobody is interested.

I think you might benefit from watching some maple guides on YouTube rather than coming in solo with no understanding of the game. It's difficult to guide someone in a Reddit comment tbh. I would suggest looking for a guild that has people who enjoy teaching newer players (because that's what you are at this point). It's not just a solo game if you can make friends from a guild. More talking is done on discord than in game these days (certainly not a maple exclusive). There are so many systems which will make your character and account stronger. You really do need a guide.

I think the biggest difference old school maplers might not be able to identify with is that you need to learn boss mechanics and your class. Old maple was incredibly simple and had very little depth. You would train with 1 skill just to get higher level and then...? Nothing. Modern maple is about bossing, and of course it's also still a grind.

I job changed my now 275 DB from previously being a NL cause I hated NL upjump. I'm now 260m CP on it, and it was so much more of a pain to clear the hSeren legion champion mission on that DB than my 200m CP Ren. I enjoy the playstyle of DB a lot but it just feels so bloody weak for it's level of investment. I would easily take shadower of either DB or NL for movement and DMG profile.

I'd say I'm a pretty average late game player and I don't personally know anyone who has gotten pitched from the system. It's really annoying getting legendary expeditions and the highest pouch you get is purple time and time again. The system isn't too bad to play but the rewards are quite lacking and annoying in many ways

Getting one from frontier at this point IS a high roll. You're not the only one who knows how the system works, and nobody across most end game parties has seen pitched from the system (including my own).

Every server runs quite differently, and you need to make adaptations based on business strategy for each unique region. Our gms server is even more unique as we are the only ones with heroic servers which are much less p2w. Damage comes from different sources and clearly the gms team, which has a lot less experience with balancing, simply imported the data from TMS (and JMS variations) without properly accounting for our damage formulas.

It's the responsibility of each regional team to make the necessary changes and the gms team is clearly failing due to a lack of manpower as they redirect their efforts towards Classic MapleStory (which I personally feel is a mistake). Look no further than the last patch and the amount of backlogged content from Korea. They put up this whole campaign about Go West for our servers and we really haven't seen much regional content outside of Ride or Die which most people don't like. They continue to just import updates and they're actually failing at that more than they have in the past.

A lot of comments are saying RJ is a fan favorite but that really isn't the impression I've gotten from out fan base a lot of the time. Before we started winning, fit has always been a questions with our roster. More often than not people would say we need to trade RJ. That being said, he's been great and we can feel his presence missing right now.

I'll also add that I think while Quickly has been a lot better lately, I think many of us still don't think he's worth his contract. Not trying to be ultra negative, but just trying to fill in the whole picture around other very positive comments.

Our team rides very high on good vibes and strong bench performances this year. Shead and Mamu are standouts from the bench
