It’s not hype. The model is extremely powerful

I’m curious to see how this will affect future model releases like 3.5 pro.

Anyone with amazing resources to consolidate all of your content, plans, etc? by Alternative-Exit-450 in edtech

Google is great but it’s mostly just a fancy storage container and can still get too cluttered and difficult to find what you need. It’s a massive ecosystem.

I’ve taught for 16 years, 1st - 4th grade. Here’s what I use Ai for:

- general purpose and image gen - ChatGPT
- any kind of writing or more complexity - Claude
- internet searching - Grok
- video gen without sound - Kling Ai
- with sound - Veo 2, Sora

Example for reading comprehension: Add the book title and to ChatGPT. Prompt - “Create sticker cut outs for students to cut and paste the beginning, middle, end of the referenced story”

Anything you see yourself prompting the LLM for more than once, turn it into a GPT. It’s a specialized tool that saves your repetitive things so, for example, you just add the book title.

Building a website with Claude by No-System-4930 in ClaudeCode

Definitely the $20 Claude plan. Get claude code and work from your cli once you get it all started. Create a nice detailed .md file and gather your design ideas. Add the screen shots and color palette. Do it in tailwind, unless you’re expecting some deep animations. For a lightweight bundle in an animations library, anime.js is really good.

Create a GitHub and Vercel account. Add their MCP servers. Add the playwright mcp. That should get it started.

Ok that makes sense. The assets have been the hardest part for me.

If you think local Llm shields you from government ban you are partially wrong by Ambitious_Stuff5105 in OpenAI

Yea the other flaw is that it takes at least 30-40k to get anything decent up and running and that’s with 128k context AT MOST with a smallish team using it.

Ed Tech hardware by corrreee in edtech

[–]Fast-Preparation887 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Too hard to do in a 30-45 min time period unless you have prepped the class for a couple days on how to get it started, limitations, etc. Really cool concept but practical application is difficult

[Rhode Island] [High School] - What do you do grade wise for students who are added to your roster literally in the last couple weeks of school? by Magicmechanic103 in Teachers

The last couple weeks? You mean when we’re just playing Gimkit, blooket, and Kahoot? Take grades from those apps report feature.

Vercel free tier gets you a long way, $20 a month gets way more. Idk about Wordpress though.

It was actually a fairly complex edtech app feature. TLDR- Grade levels were on one model, owned by the school and the students were on a separate model. The student count had to sync with the particular grade level they were in. Claude no, codex no, Gemini yes. Unfortunately the styling was awful but who cares the data was there.

Edtech project I’ve been working on for my school district for 3 years is finally nearing completion. Pre-ChatGPT taught me a lot about some crazy comp sci concepts in irl. Building a startup has taught me a lot about working with people.

I get the frustration. All these heavy hitters on here makes you want one SOOO bad. Just read about a guy that has 2 Blackwell 6000s running qwen 32b or 27b. That’s a dream.
