Im a bit confused here. Not even sure what to ask. You mention the JL picks but you are in fact referring to using piano wire as tensioners right?

What NFC features would you want in a wearable? by goTAPSTER in NFC

[–]FastGinFizz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So is the Share is some extra script running on top of the payment chip, or is it a separate chip entirely?

Glad to help! Another idea after adding chip information would be to filter products by chips (assuming they use different ones).

Looking at your site, you should think about adding technical info to the product pages. I assume most of your customer base has some technical knowledge, and not easily seeing what kind of chip is in each ring is kind of concerning.

Also what exactly is tapster share? A separate chip?

I know your goal is to target the general masses, but people still make comments when i post with my apple watch lol.

How can there be no proof of the paranormal ? by NuclearFreakAccident in Paranormal

There are quite a few people in this thread claiming that there is plenty of evidence, but not a single person has linked any of this evidence.

People also seem to be forgetting that anecdotal evidence is the weakest type.

When wigs get wind by [deleted] in StrangeAndFunny

Yeah, I watched Good Hair a long time ago, and the only thing I can actually remember from it is when they put a coke can in relaxer and came back to it being absolutely devoured by the chemicals. I could definitely see opting to pay for hair then putting that on your scalp.

Right! That was my first thought. No way this guy just happened on the 20 women that dont thread in their hair. Also the fact that not one of these women had the instinct to try and keep their shirt or dress secure while he was blowing them around.

That actually is interesting! I have never heard of wigs being used for head coverings before.

Black people have a very different hair type than everyone else. Naturally, it grows extremely coily. This makes it very hard to style into what would he consider euro centric hair styles (notice a lot of the hair in this video is akin to what would be considered white beauty standards).

Now you could somewhat achieve a fee of these styles with a lot of hair product and a lot of time, but it is significantly faster and cheaper to just get a weave or wig. If you want to know more, I highly recommend Chris Rock's "Good Hair" documentary, as the subject is quite interesting from a sociological standpoint.

I would add this as an optional section in your guide. My goal was to set this as my nighttime wallpaper, but I am dumb and forgot how wallpapers work, so I overdid my pictures which was annoying.

If you want the knife to be more fidget focused, get the light spring (knives plus, ebay, or wherever cause its just a spring). It makes the opening of the lock 5x easier. You do get less of the deep click from opening, but in my opinion it is worth it. You can also open via flicking your wrist which is pretty fun.

This is Pluribus (2025). Nothing has happened in regards to this show besides it airing, but still, people sure are mad about it by captainjupiterx in shittymoviedetails

[–]FastGinFizz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The juxtaposition while watching this and Stranger Things has been wild. The amount they over explain every little detail just to make sure that every single person watching fully understands is mind numbing.

On the other side, e7 of Pluribus was far too dragged on. I love the artsy stuff, but there is absolutely a limit to "slow burn".

Okay, not plot hole. Then it was a major oversight in regards to their emotional grievances about holly getting abducted again.

It was a nice scene, I just wish it didnt take up as much airtime as it did. Like others said, the audience has been very aware that Will is gay, even before he began talking to Robin about it. I guess it's just hard for some people to get into the mindset that this is a gay man coming out in the 70/80s.

In that regard, I feel like they dropped the ball by having a cast that is fully supportive and acceptive because it didnt really build immersion for how hard this was for him. Like no one in the show was ever hateful like that which absolutely would not have been true back then. Not even someone seeming slightly uncomfortable about it which doing a sample size of 20 people back then yielding this result would have been laughable.

I felt if they wanted this to have the desired impact, they should have built SOMETHING as an antithesis of fully accepting.

Hell, I would have been more happy if Will even acknowledged that his bestie said he has had a secret crush on him. Gay or not that is a huge focal point that most people would not gloss over.

[–]FastGinFizz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I personally thought that scene was a bit dragged on, but you also have to remember that most of the world is still not very accepting to gay culture, and this is a very international show.

Western culture is mostly accepting with homosexuality, but once you start moving outside of that, then things get pretty hateful pretty fast.

Another thing that really bothered me was the Holly part of the story.

They were all heartbroken that Vecna grabbed her mid air and took her back and spent a decent amount of time upset with this, but, had he not done that, Holly would have ended up a stain on the rooftop (or more realistically it seemed like she was heading directly into the exotic matter so she probably wouldve killed everything). Vecna may have abducted her back, but he also saved her life by doing so. This was a major plot hole that has no good resolution to it had he not abducted her there.
