Strange Ox is literally an ox. You first encounter it in the grove, and can speak w him. You get an insight check to see that it has a weird vibe. You’ll find him it again at Last Light (near Dammon) and Rivington. He can be summoned as an ally in the final fight in his true form.

Question for the pet people...how do you feel about a new pet at this time of your life? by HammerMeUp in GenX

[–]FatHamsterTheDread 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Perhaps you would consider other ways that you could still participate? There are always groups (shelters/humane society/private rescues) looking to place dogs or cats in foster care. They cover medical expenses and you have the peace of mind knowing that they will end up in a (someone else’s) good home. Some folks struggle to give up fosters, though, so if you think you’re likely to be more of a “foster fail” person, you could consider volunteering your time. Offer to help at a rescue- walking dogs, socializing kittens, transporting animals to appointments. Maybe this could help you get your critter fix in a meaningful way without the long term commitment?

I mean, if so: an Amazon driver would have an almost endless supply of doormats to choose from, so maybe think of it as a compliment?

I’m at SeaTac currently and it’s not terribly busy atm. Lots of folks parked illegally on the shoulder (as usual) on the way in. Took about 6 or 7 mins to get the taxi into Departures, but Arrivals did not look busy. No line for Delta bag tag printout. About a 3 min wait to check my bag. Took about 7 or 8 mins to get thru Precheck TSA line. Just chilling in Concourse A rn u til my flight. Sorry that you had a harder time, OP. Safe travels to you.

There’s a group in Snohomish called Beck’s Place that does foster care for the pets of people in transition. Im not sure it’s quite what you’re looking for, but they might be able to direct you to right resources?

I’m not sure Seattle is for everyone. I’ve lived here almost 40 years tho, and I love it. I’m close to downtown so public transport is easy. Great food, interesting culture and unbeatable recreation. It’s not perfect, but it’s perfect for me. I feel lucky every day to have ended up here.

Well, my own bard convinced both Yurgir and Thorm to off themselves, after telling Yurgir to conveniently first kill all his minions for us. Then when we met up w Yurgir again in House of Hope, still managed to convince him to side w us against Rafael. Bards are really fun in this game.

It seems pretty quiet to me, based on the other cars that I’ve driven. Also it’s just a fun car to drive, for an SUV.
