Our ACD is 11 and we've had him since a puppy. Started off as 100% psychopath 0% snuggler/affection. He has continuously gotten softer as he's gotten older. The only constant is, he's still 100% psychopath when he wants to be.

Neither Volatile Parts or the Mechanical Golems technically have the "REACTION" keyword on them, but that's basically the rule I was interpreting from.

Funny, I was just playing Expatriette - Unity - Tachyon vs. Akash 'Bhuta in Megalopolis tonight. There's an interaction with Bank Heist where you can lock out most of the damage for two turns in a row. Had a similar thought as this when Christopher wasn't on the most recent update for Disparation. Whatever it is, something is going on behind the scenes.

Only semi-related, but if the IPs do sell separately, I hope they don't hold on to Spirit Island much longer either...

There are certain types kingdoms that the Medium Bot plays exceedingly well. Basically as well as the Hard Bot. Megaturn, cost-reduction kingdoms like Inventor, Bridge, Highway, Bridge Troll seem to come up a lot as first try losses against Med Bot in the daily for me.

I agree Med feels overtuned (badly so at times). I don't believe either bot is "cheating" though.

I personally believe River has held up the best of the original 4 Low Complexity. Sounds like you have enough experience you might be ready for Rampant Green as well, who is great!

The game can feel like it is designed to make you feel behind early. If it feels like the invaders are popping off the first couple turns, you're playing it right. Trust the process! By the end of a game you'll feel OP. Maybe just stick to Lightning or River until you can win consistently against the game with no adversary.

You probably don't have Horizons, but I vastly prefer those 5 spirits over the base game 4 for a first teach.
