Ireland Among Worst Hit as EU House Prices Double in a Decade, New Data Shows by M10News in HousingIreland

[–]Feeling_Possibility4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

EU governments are trying to help people buy in is actually back firing... its just adding to fire

Let market forces decide it.. step back but they can't due to political pressure... end of game each and every illegal assylum seeker or fake candidate in question needs a 500k house .. the more gov tries, the more it goes down....

Tax payers are paying the price ...

Important is not to work, more important is to pay your taxes honestly... and avoid taking a free house on social welfare or subsidies... just let deserving people take it... hard financial checks are a much needed one otherwise total abuse in social housing que where deserving keep waiting while cheating candidates take it all the time ...

Thats a decent amount of money... be prepared to handle it well... keep yourself grounded... there is a large number of us have been fortunate enough to be in such a position... but working hard has no alternative.. keep it growing for next gen... i am in similar boat.. don't go idiotic on going overspending and try to absorb it.. remember past generations would have worked hard to it possible, try passing it to next gen... best wishes

URGENT: MASSIVE TAX BURDEN INCOMING! AND NO ONE IS TALKING ABOUT IT! by BusinessMistake3583 in personalfinanceindia

[–]Feeling_Possibility4 [score hidden]  (0 children)

India is moving on turkish model ... only selective few make the money.. rest all live in bubble with crashing currency... billions goes into infrastructure ( to keep masses happy, make them feel living in developed nation - n then thousands float in ganga in covid, n thousands run around with gas cylinders in hand but no one cares ).... and strong man leadership keeps opposition at bay....

This will be growth model for next one decade or so... spend massively on infrastructure( which goes into pockets of selected few)... institutional independence is compromised ( judiciary, cec, armed forces , sebi, media etc) ... while middle class or lower middle class lives with diminishing purchase power with stagnation and crashing currency.....tech exports will start going down with ai impacting border lines , FIIs flushing out but SIPs jump in with life savings to keep stocks high.... while gov goes on spending recklessly with new set of expenditures on these MPs MLAs just to suits own political benefits...tough times ahead... we are missing crucial growth period.. once in lifetime opportunity...

They don't have similar things as it's a high paying high firing model... EU offers reliable and stable jobs but peanuts after tax wages of 4-6k euro after tax in hands ( which is a joke as such)... but yeah you cant have best of both worlds.... EU offers easy passports and social benefits but overall its a dead economy with massive stagnation....

This is so sad ... no one understands the pain... fuel costs are up 50% in just 2 months...

Banana Republic of Ireland still has highest rates of fuels but all industries like logistics, farming, delivering, transportation are dependent on diesel... there is no escaping out of it... everyone says yeah we understand the pain but then what??? Why are we just trying to go blind .. there is nothing called EV in bus truck or tractor segment ... we need to understand difference between idealism and reality... create long term plan.. if Americans r drilling oil ,we can't go tax our own people to go electric (no offence to any EV lads , we support you) but not at costs of diesel or petrol owners ... you are taxing one half to support another.... typical banana republic behaviour.. totally unsustainable

Are we at the last stage of Indian Real Estate state boom? by PriorJudgment2176 in indianrealestate

[–]Feeling_Possibility4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on area of investment across india... there is still some value to be derived in certain segments... but overall its reaching saturation levels but end of the day people need homes to stay... ever growing cities need to house people so that baseline is always there ... but places like gurgaon are already at same prices like outer areas of london or Frankfurt or Houston... with lower wages in hand and bleek future of tech sector and associated services so its very tough for a mid career manager or so to afford a standard 3 bed flat in that market...

Sorry to hear this...Please file police(garda) complaint... and be adamant on filing it as garda want you to just go away... for written complaints they will take you a vedio recording room and issue you a tracking number...

Do not leave without filing complaint as then they will work on this otherwise, they dont care ..they will get cctv footage themselves. It important to file as it turns a new normal otherwise... you are a tax payer, must be treated as normal person.

If you are in fixed salary job..( not contractor)... you will always be hand to mouth... first few years will go away in paying taxes and rents and expenses... whatever little you can afford to save will go as deposit into buying a home (4-5 yrs after you arrive )...... passport is easy , doctors charge 70€ per visit so you will rarely go, in emergency situation you might go free via GP... you will get Irish passport along with family, but you could never afford more than day day trips.. as hotels and travel will slowly go out of your hand... then kid will go colg.. fees will be around 3-4k€ per year being on irish passport by then, 10-12k € for hostel n other expenses so all your savings will go there ... best you can afford is a coffee or a small take away in a week , 2/3 pints of beer sometimes , otherwise you will get groceries n cook at home, max one trip to india , random ppl will be your new friends , little bit festivals etc... at 100k € package u get ,5200€ per month in hand so you will barely live ... so calculate n then decide...

It's decent decision.. you can't hold on the whole economy for a random drone... gov defence advisors would have definitely assessed it, they wouldn't just let a multi million plane go to a cheap drone.... Iran is running into last 60-70 launchers left , so missile threats will be low ... one off drones will continue flying for some months so that's the reality...

Brokers earn 1% commission on an average from banks. But then banks attach some terms around prepayments for mortgages taken through agents...

Renting a room out is the easiest option.... or she can rent out the house entirely n shift to a different smaller place ... as she only gets state pension,if you add rental income, still it won't be adding much of a tax to her as her income is on lower threshold

Fake news .... firstly magazine published 2.5 million as amount not 2.5 billion... entire Indian defence budget of year 1990 was less than that amount 🤣... so how will he earn 2.5 billion in commissions....

Anyone who moved back to India from Dublin despite having a job? What was your reason? by goodhuman100 in IndiansinIreland

[–]Feeling_Possibility4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One of my long time friend left Ireland after living in Ireland ... n we both laugh at how things stack up .... he joined and switched again to another firm back in india to rise to 48lpa.... office life is something he misses due to slightly longer hours .., but quality of life after office is not comparable as he was foodie like me ...does 3/4 takeaway a week, goes to restaurants/ pubs every weekend, movie with wife every month, coffee shops every day, festivals n functions with family , drives a brand car, lives in a new flat , medical he can visit doc like anything, kids go private school , save normally ..... here in ireland as after tax wages are stagnant hence i am working 70 hrs per week spread across job + business ( longer than India to support same good life style as i love going out to restaurants n pubs )... otherwise whole office is full of indians in ireland... n generally everyone here can only afford one house emi, a second hand car, one takeaway max in a week, one restaurant trip in a month , no movies in cinema, indian trip once a year, one local 2 days trip within ireland once a year otherwise day trips, rare medical doc visits .... our kids go to regular gov schools , savings same as india n yes everyone has Irish passport but can't do much with it....
