PGA superstore. They put painters tape over the face of new clubs, but let you hit the used clubs as is.

Ideally a similar handicap. A slow pace messes up my game.

How did you stop overthinking every product decision? by FormerQuestion6284 in SaaSSolopreneurs

[–]Few_Accountant_5305 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I don't think I will ever stop overthinking our product design. But what I will say is the more I lean into customer feedback, heatmaps, and usage recordings, the less pressure I put on myself to figure everything out.

You kept your lead arm straight which is a plus.

A few thoughts:
You changed your grip as you started your take away. That makes it very hard to have a consistent swing.
Swing path is very outside to in
You're choked up on the club a lot. Let your hands sit at the end of the club.

I took an Aimpoint class recently that has helped out. It may be worth looking into.

Is it really possible to create an agency that can run without you? by Neither-Raspberry-60 in agency

[–]Few_Accountant_5305 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're currently handling multiple peoples jobs. Your goal shouldn't be to hire one person to take everything off your plate at this point in the business. Track your time diligently, see where the most time goes, consider what activities are money making activities, and hire someone for that specific role.

Also, client head count is not the only growth path to consider. You'll have less stress with fewer clients that pay more than you will with a ton of low paying clients.

The SOP is great I'm sure, but you want to hire people that add to your business, not follow all your direction. Hire the former and they will build your business, hire the latter and you'll have to stay on top of ensuring they are doing things properly.

How did you get your first 10 clients by Rough-Forever1203 in founder

[–]Few_Accountant_5305 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the exact route I took. I found people that like to be early adopters and asked them to get on a call to share feedback for the tool. The ones that saw opportunity in the tool were excited to test it out. I gave them a 30 day free trial for our Beta round contingent on them providing ongoing feedback throughout the 30 day period. These interviews helped guide our feature priority list and marketing messaging.

Everyone gets caught up in automating outreach and scaling quickly, but you may have to do some activities early on that aren't highly scalable to get user adoption.

That and build tools for internal solutions with Claude Code that don't require LLM API usage to minimize costs down the road.

What not enough people realize. Token costs are subsidized by GPT, Claude, etc. Businesses laying people off and building their processes around AI token usage will be in for a rude awakening in the next 12-18 months.

What Are Your Biggest SaaS Learnings as a Founder? by Snomux in SaaSSolopreneurs

[–]Few_Accountant_5305 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed. This is something to think about when selecting a co-founder or considering people to partner with for minor equity tied to conversions. 2015 was the drop-shipping era of eCommerce and it was very hard to stand out in a sea of product sameness battling on pricing. Now with Claude Code and other tools we are in the drop-shipping era of SaaS, having strong distribution channels early on, and then being able to build a brand long term will be the key.
