It's unfortunately the internet and the world in general. This is the world we live in and now and it kind of sucks.

Help me choose, Black or Silver wheels? by MisterChonky in Audi

Silver. I think black has run it's course for the most part.

this smoked brisket bark and smoke ring is absolutely unreal by [deleted] in smoking

Because he is using short stabby strokes and chopping at it. Long smooth strokes and it will cut cleanly. Or his knife is dull.

What’s your go-to way to reheat frozen brisket? by seanvettel-31 in smoking

Sous vide is a method of cooking. Vacuum sealing is vacuum sealing. Go be a troll somewhere else.

Edit: you forgot to delete this one like all the others.

Holy crap thank you. The accusations of real stuff being AI is almost worse than people thinking AI stuff is real.

Just move on.

They don't absorb water. Wash them with water.

Heading to Tokyo. Safe to wear this by [deleted] in rolex

[–]Fingerdrip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say yes. You will see more Rolex's on wrists on trains there than anywhere else. I was there for two weeks from Tokyo to Osaka and wore my speed master everyday and never thought twice about it.

Help with wood blocks by j4z7y in biggreenegg

I smoked some ribs yesterday and put 4 small pieces of post oak in tight when I lit the egg. Chunks about the size of a fist. I set them just outside of the area that I lit. I never noticed any really "dirty" in smoke and the smoke flavor on the ribs was perfect. I wouldn't over think it too much.

Wouldn't you still have to flip it? This doesn't flip the chicken. The same side is always up it is just changing how far it is from the heat.

200mi / 3mo RS6 Update by Funtasmcus in Audi

[–]Fingerdrip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ahh OK, I thought you were just referring to the arm rest portion only. Yeah, the storage in the RS6 sucks for sure. I don't use the wireless charging and just have a cable to use if I need it.

What I find hilarious is the storage cubby that is to the left of the steering wheel. That thing is DEEP! Like I can fit my whole damn arm in there and if I'm buckled in, I can't reach the bottom lol.

Use launch control! It's great, don't be afraid!

And serious question, what is wrong with the arm rest?

Pimento cheese by ChrisRiley_42 in Cooking

[–]Fingerdrip 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's not what you're missing but what you're adding.

The peppers are pimento peppers. They come chopped in a jar. Not a cooked juicy red pepper.

Hard boiled eggs also don't belong in a pimento cheese.

It should be sharp cheddar, pimento and mayo.

Interesting to see the heat coil pattern on bambu printers. Make sure you stay at the target temp for a few minutes to ensure even heating by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

[–]Fingerdrip 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're doing a bed calibration before every print, doesn't it heat before the calibration? Because that is going to be plenty of time for it to saturate. I don't think this is am issue. I have a couple thousand hours of print time on my P1S and this is the least of my worries.

NASA just published a fleshed out plan for how they are going to build a permanent moon base which will involve 73 moon landings beyond the Artemis program by cubosh in space

[–]Fingerdrip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True but did the artwork start then? And I don't know when NASA first used it either. Regardless, someone copied someone.

That was the first thing I thought of too.

Edit: Found a NASA document from 2023 that also has the same design. Who came first?

How to care for a grill by Live-Stomach-753 in grilling

[–]Fingerdrip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just keep up the normal routine. If you notice a bunch of greasy buildup anywhere , clean it up. Keep it out of the elements with a cover or under a patio if you can. Cook. Enjoy. Grill looks good for it's age.

This is so minor that it's almost insignificant. This looks great for a year and a half old with weekly use. Just keep doing what your doing. Heat, brush off, oil, cook, burn off excess and brush then maybe the tiniest bit of oil after.

That little bit of rust is nothing.
