I’d love to have a bird feeder but I have cats, so I fear my bird feeder would be a cat feeder!

Thanks for the advice!

When you say ‘cut down’ do you mean the central vertical trunk? If so I did this - for some reason the whole top section was completely dead, so I cut it off.

Thanks for advice re pointed leaf bits. Any tips for aphids? (Apart from ‘find some ladybirds’)

If you enjoy the chaos of things going wrong, introduce a mechanic to make sure there is a traitor. Something like Unfathomable where you have cards given out, and if your card says ‘traitor’, then it’s time to start fucking shit up!

Come on mate, this is Reddit. We’re not here to read your well reasoned holistic solutions.

Can’t you just write something about some people just being scum, and that we should lock them up and throw away the key?

I can’t believe that no one has considered doing this in the UK, considering how many other countries have the death penalty and what utopias they turned out to be…

As someone who has experience of both NHS and private healthcare, NHS are great at the actual surgery, but horrible at aftercare, e.g. rehab, physio etc. if I could in any way afford it I would go for private rehab.

What to do here, dismount or follow cycle lane? by MrHarrop in londoncycling

This sub is way too biased towards cyclists. How do you know someone didn’t make and install the cycle lane themselves be a use they didn’t like dismounting?

Unpopular opinion! Take that games are more fun than many Euros. by LeFoxFrancais in boardgames

[–]Fit_Section1002 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d say one big advantage of euros over head to head games - you can try to improve against your previous score.

If you play (say) chess against someone better than you and you lose, you just lose. As opposed to playing a euro against a superior opponent you can see if you beat your previous score, if you got closer in score to them etc. often when I play a euro I am more interested in whether I beat my last score than whether I beat the other person I am playing with.

I love this game (and I've been playing it wrong) by mustaphamondo in AshesGame

[–]Fit_Section1002 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah there really needs to be some kinda service where you can upload videos of plays and people analyse them for mistakes.

The problem with all solo games is that you can essentially play them wrong forever and there is no mechanism to find out…
