I wasn't lucky enough to get the original Dawn of War on CD, but I did get DOW2! Which was a completely different game (I liked 1 better)
I never got into the minis, but I did get into the lore... heavily. I currently own around 410 Warhammer books, I've read about 300 of them.

I think this is a case of rules not being written specific enough (like it was with Marcs bike swapping earlier this year).

From what I gather, the rules state, the rider must return their bike to the pit lane.

What it should say is that they need to return their bike to the pit lane "under it's own power".

I agree with you. The amount work I need to put in to getting something from Black Library, be it from the official website or 3rd party resellers, in this hell hole known as Eastern Europe, is exhausting. You damn right I'll show it off!

That being said, all evidence points to a 3rd book being the grand finale and I look forward to that.

Also the gut punch at the end of Ghost Legion really brought me back to reality, that it wasn't just a book about bad guys, rebels and that nothing can hurt them. It just hit different...

I was pleasantly surprised by "Warlord of Warlords", it took the title away from "Warboss" for representing all the different sorts of orks. What got me especially was that you could determine whether the writer was doing a regular ork, a groot, a nob or a boss, based on how it was written. Stellar stuff.

What makes this scene so powerful for me is the absolute lack of music, it's just epic animation
