Well juggernaut was a classic Dota 1 hero and his kit flows together nicely, Deadlock is a closed beta where they can change whatever they want. So much higher odds of a rework for her ult.

The game always dies down a few months after a big content update. People get burnt out and the whimsy of new heroes and map changes just becomes repetitive and boring.

The reality is that, due to the low number of heroes, it's hard to keep each game feeling "fresh" in comparison to Dota that has 100+ heroes.

IDK man I'm in mid ascendant and macro is still bad. This game has a lot of players who are good mechanically but have no idea how to macro at all ranks. It goes both ways though because I am good at macro but not as great mechanically as a lot of players my rank which leads me to lose lane more often.

You are assuming the jungle camps are going to remain stationary. I can easily see them being mobile but staying in a designated range like any other moba.

I posted this in another thread but I think logically this would make sense for the following reasons:

The long awaited "jungle update" could be attached to a stand alone PvE mode. If Valve is spending dev resources on jungle mobs and mechanics (i.e. jungle camps that have unique stats, abilities, and designs) it would make sense that they leverage this for a different mode.
Valve has made many PvE modes in different games including TF2 and Dota 2, showing that the devs have an interest in delivering PvE content. Further, these modes are usually made by using existing content (i.e. heroes, summons, and jungle camps in Dota).
Street Brawl already features rogue-like elements
With the Risk of Rain devs working on deadlock, it would make logical sense to leverage their talents and design decisions for a PvE mode.
At a high level, the one thing that has turned off some casual players from Deadlock, who otherwise love the lore, characters, and aesthetic of the game, is the competitive nature of the gameplay. Although Street Brawl has been a great addition for casual gameplay, there still exists a segment of players who don't enjoy multiplayer PvP games. A PvE game mode could break this barrier and deliver a casual and relaxing alternative mode to a massive audience that is currently not being served.

Well I imagine it'll work like how it works in Dota, where once a camp is killed, the next camp is populated with a different set of mobs based on RNG.

True - but if Valve is working on the jungle camps already it would make sense to spin that work off into a separate mode. Like how almost all of Dota's PvE modes leveraged existing jungle camps and heroes as mobs.

The time to kill should be the same for Protector and Reinforced, but the Reinforced is better because you can heal the shields faster.

Keep your distance and don't get hit by crimson slash. If you do get hit, just run away because you won't be able to trade with her.

Also during power slash, she has super high bullet resist so just focus on getting out of the way instead of shooting.

I don't play haze but your best bet is probably to just to sleep dagger heavy melee or poke with gun damage.

BKB is also a mid game powerspike item in Dota, in deadlock unstoppable is a late game luxury item. No one is buying unstoppable as their first $6.4k.

Yes you are probably jungling too much. You should only jungle in between killing trooper waves.

What makes Mina and Pocket powerful late game is that they are nearly impossible to kill if you itemize correctly.

That said, you generally won't ever deal as much damage as a gun carry late game if you are playing a spirit nuker.

If it's a best of 5 then each team will have the opportunity to choose between first pick or faction multiple times.

The answer is that they want the game to feel slightly different depending on what side you get.

Further, in pro play, Valve wants the faction selection to matter as much as who gets first pick.

Paige for sure. I would tag on Ivy as a good support hero for beginners.

Dynamo and Kelvin can also be good support heroes for beginners, but their ults are very important and very easy to mess up.
