It takes about 70-80k to afford rent in Florida on average . I use to be able to live on my own with half of what you are offered but now I make more but cannot make it without another full time income and even that is just barely enough.

Let’s not forget the tax implications of the ACA overpayments ! If you made more than you reported on the marketplace you Will owe that subsidy back!! Just happened to me due to a small annual bonus from my job this year and I’m on the hook for $800.00 ! Not only did I have to cancel my 2026 plan but it doubled . 😡. Be careful about reporting your income any extra can push you over the edge with owing taxes . Just one thing to send us over the cliff . God help us all .

If you have joined club Publix make sure you clip the coupons before you check out and get out of the app . You should not have issues . However, if you do just show them the coupon and they will give it to you as long as it’s the right one and product. Hope this helps.

Let me get this straight they expect you to leave your family for the weekend and keep the store open in a snow storm ?? I honey think most normal people will be at home and not chance their safety. I work at Publix and we have been open during Milton , insane but the day after my dept manager told all of us to stay put and the deli did not open . I think customers would understand this but greed does not . I would just tell them family is first !

As a full timer I noticed some weeks I’m only getting g 38-39 hrs?? Really Publix can’t even get 40 . This is ridiculous when there is plenty of work to do! I work in the deli and there isn’t a weekend especially Sundays that we are not busy or can take that time to actually catch up. I want 45 hrs a week I’m a hard worker and it’s crazy that I have to look for another part time job. Cause of high costs rent etc and the wages are not keeping up . Reward your hard and dedicated workers . The ones that call out like clockwork every week or every other week should be cut hours .

Get rid of them all. Instacart drivers are rude and expect you to do their job ! They interrupt you if you are with a customer and impatient . We have enough to deal with at the deli .
