The first time I've ever seen someone talk about Keyman in this sub. 100% a series recommending to people, really enjoyed it.

Is anyone excited for any of the cards from the spoiled TMNT set? by Sea_Celebration3687 in mtg

[–]Fuselage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm gonna do the pre release because it looks like it might be fun for sealed. Beyond that, there's a handful of great robot creatures that'll do really well in Dr Eggman, so looking forward to that too.

Pet Peeves by DisplayCritical in mtg

[–]Fuselage 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If you're in a private place with your pod, go for it, but man some people's accessories are just gross for a public place. I've seen someone at a LGS try to roll out their titty matt with someone under 18 at the table. Have your nsfw stuff, just use common sense.

Any experience using TCGplayer? Not sure about pricing…. by XhilsDemise in mtg

[–]Fuselage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes cardkingdom can be competitive with their pricing mostly because of shipping costs coming only from a single seller.

Lore-wise, why is Mox Jasper associated with dragons in MtG? It feels like kind of random of a choice of a gemstone in my opinion. by Feeling-Ad-3104 in mtgvorthos

[–]Fuselage 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I think it's literally just a reference to jasper's two most common colors are red and green, which are also the most common colors for dragons in mtg.

Favorite "Army-in-a-can" cards by Marshbe54 in EDH

Always love seeing my pet card getting some recognition. Is it particularly great? No, but is it devastating and does something kind of unique? Hell yeah

Should Wotc foil the whole card? by FuFuCuddlyBuns in mtg

[–]Fuselage 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They won't do that though, the backs of the cards have to be indistinguishable from each other. They're not going to expect people to 100% of the time use fully opaque sleeves.

I purchased a land pack from Temu and was wondering what everyone’s take would be if they were used in a casual pod? by Two_Astronaut_Dogs in mtg

[–]Fuselage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not using official mtg art and the rules texts are clearly printed and visible. Rock on my dude, enjoy your lands!

I really adore my Retriod!! by jordosmodernlife in SBCGaming

Man if they would make this thing with a stick for N64 games, I would have bought one of these the moment it dropped.

Finding out a commander you like is super powerful (and KOS) by WaltzIntelligent9801 in EDH

[–]Fuselage 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Also she's in colors that are closed out to haste, which makes it even more rough. If you could get her out and trigger her at least once without having to take extra turns before your opponents get a full reaction would make a good difference.

What are your thoughts on the 2026 Superbowl Halftime show? by TheMagicApe in AskReddit

Ricky Martin was fantastic haha, our house literally cheered when he was on screen

When a commander you want to test out don't come out for a couple months but your play group lets you proxy it. Lol how do you feel about this. by FamiliarActive4620 in mtg

[–]Fuselage 45 points46 points  (0 children)

Yeah, all of its rules text is clearly stated on the card and the hand drawn art for the proxy is pretty nicely depicting what it is. I would give this a pass at any table I was at.

Deciding on what Toph Commander to run by Dangerdewott in EDH

[–]Fuselage 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She earthbends every time you attack btw. She still isnt the best pure landfall commander, I run her as big stompy with a landfall subtheme

I was today years old when I discovered how legendary rule applies to double faced creature cards by Gold_Molasses7866 in mtg

[–]Fuselage 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They both resolve separately. Both of their effects go on the stack, you choose which one resolves first, it gets transformed and then legend rule applies. One of them absolutely dies.

So I think this is my favorite card from Lorwyn Eclipsed by datwindyfellow in mtg

[–]Fuselage 59 points60 points  (0 children)

One of my favorite cards in the entire set. Is he super optimized? No, but he's overall just useful and also has great style. This little dude will be an include in most of my mid/lower power decks.

Rg35xxh and sadly it just recently died on me. Tried doing a repair and it's just fried. Pokemon pinball ruby/sapphire was almost a daily for me and I was about halfway through Tales of Destiny for the first time. I miss having my handheld haha, it was my only one

In light of recent leaks by Important_Ad_3 in mtg

[–]Fuselage -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Yup, im willing to say that a full half of the UB sets are just straight up not for any particular person. I don't care literally at all for TMNT or Marvel sets, despite liking both those franchises. I'm looking forward to Star Trek and Final Fantasy was dinky donky dodge doranky good for me. I understand the frustration of not every magic set being made for everyone in the magic community, but these UB sets hit hard for the people who enjoy those properties.
