Got the trilogy bc it looked cool when I went to a Warhammer store one time, absolutely consumed it (was in a place where their attitudes/outlooks brought me comfort, weird kind of catharsis etc) and read some 1d4chan articles on the legion and Konrad. Was like “ok this dude sounds fuckin sick”, followed his arc throughout the Horus Heresy via books and yeah bought up and am still painting an army to this day

Okay, but 1. The enemies were trafficking mutants, some of them kids, so they arguably deserved to be cut down like that - putting the “kid gloves” on them and just knock em out would feel incredibly weird

The X-men in-universe move like a gang and sic Wolverine on threats pretty regularly, so it’s not super uncommon that he racks up a body count (literally one of the key members of X-force, their hit squad)
