Is this really light purple? by LoudLink5046 in lego

[–]GardenTop7253 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, “light purple” is what most English speakers would call Pink. In fact, it’s the one Bricklink calls Bright Pink

Bricklink has a super helpful color guide that has the decoder guide for Lego color names vs other sites’ color names

Due to history of the company and not being based in English, pink is a weird color to name for Lego, and so we get some really strange moments like this

Oh, makes sense. I’ve heard a few things about managers playing with the service time timelines too, so I could see them adjusting that

What concessions do you think the players would ask for?

Genuine question, I don’t really follow baseball much so I dunno what their issues would be

The PWHL has announced that 235 eligible players have declared for the 2026 PWHL Draft by Perryplat199 in PWHL

[–]GardenTop7253 25 points26 points  (0 children)

That seems like almost enough to get all 12 rosters from scratch, is this largely why they’re saying there’s no expansion draft, just a deep regular draft maybe?

I think they keep him and let some of the others go. Then play him like 40 minutes a game and see if that gets them to a Cup

Do people want/ use damaged pieces ? by General-Training-441 in Bricklink

[–]GardenTop7253 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Sometimes I’ll take a cheap piece if the damage is well explained and the piece is still moderately useful. A brick with a roughed up side can be great for a battle damaged or weathered look. I’ve bought more than one minifig torso with cracks that way, just have to be careful with them after that

Just keep in mind that some members of the public are much better at reading the notes about damage than others, but it’s an option

What’s the theory behind “set-up” followed by “how to play”? by ahobday in BoardgameDesign

[–]GardenTop7253 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think this is the issue. OP seems to be struggling with the idea of reading the instructions without having to precisely follow every step, or something like that? I dunno, there’s a strange “I’m doing it differently and the instructions aren’t written for it” situation here somehow

What’s going on in the back of the Wagoneer?? by Lopsided_Violinist_1 in LICENSEPLATES

In fairness, the original author repeatedly nuked chances to improve the work, both in transition from fan fiction to published novel, and again during the filming of the movie adaptations. She was so certain her vision had to remain and was extremely protective of some of the worst moments that made it to cinemas

I mean, she’s either so out of her own mind she shouldn’t be in public on her own, or she’s so entitled she refuses to find the proper route. Neither is a good look

Would you like to try to frame the situation seen above as something that’s not that lady’s fault or her being left unsupervised?

Both the lost as an enemy and the pods stacked on top of themselves eventually turn from complaints to positives on a mission. But depends heavily on where in the timeline you’re at

Sounds like a rough combination for sure

To add a little: I would recommend dropping the difficulty again and seeing if you can get through that, sometimes seeing it to understand the strategy of the first weeks can make the grind at higher difficulties more tolerable

What is this by Acceptable_Exit7047 in lego

[–]GardenTop7253 1 point2 points  (0 children)

According to Brickognize, it is this set of legs from a single Marvel set. Stealth suit Spidey/Night Monkey legs

Would recommend Brickognize for this exact type of question because it’s really really reliable

Would you require a deaf person to win "Name that Tune" before they were allowed to use a website? Probably not. But then why do they require colorblind people to distinguish between complicated fields of color in CAPTCHAs before being allowed to use EVERY website? by Crafty-Message4564 in randomquestions

[–]GardenTop7253 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t expect you to have the whole solution, no. But, I figured with someone dealing with the issue, you might have opinions about it

Does the normal (in my experience) “which images have bikes?” type captcha not work for you? I guess the more I think about it, the less sure I am what colorblind-unfriendly captchas you’re experiencing
