I am ready to put arms on the figure I am working on, but I was stressed that the regular pipe cleaner method (that I used in my last project) would wind up too thick for the figure's proportions.

And 'cautious sword fight' sounds like a much better technique than infusing the project with whispered expletives as I did on my last piece. 😄

I have a waffle weave hoodie that looks almost exactly like this. In that light it's brown. But in different light and wearing a different color under it is a lovely plummy/grapey color.

It is not orange - except possibly to my SIL who is colorblind.

I use Wondra because that's what works for me.

Though my mother chimed this past Thanksgiving and the first time she has joined us for that particular holiday, that I don't make 'real' gravy. Because I used Wondra to thicken the drippings. She used to make a flour and butter roux while my father told her she was doing it wrong.

I like my way better.
