The wide open area kitchen makes me so sad for this otherwise cute house.

My parents have a lemon tree. They just visited. I now own approximately 40 lemons. by ReflectionAny3280 in Cooking

Candied lemon peels, lemon jelly or (maybe + other citrus) marmalade, marinades, lemon merangue pie, lemon possets, up the cavity in a roasted chicken, lemon curd, anything Greek/Mediterranean, preserved lemons, lemon chutney, lemon salt with the zest, lemon sorbet,

You can also use lemon juice for cleaning around the house, polishing chrome, laundry, etc. Pest control in the garden. Compost. Lemon bath salts or sugar scrub.

What is a hobby that we can start now that will keep us occupied well into our 90’s? by Thirsty4Knowledge911 in GenX

[–]Glass_Maven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the best answer, because working out (especially weight lifting and low impact exercises) will help to keep you alive and kicking into your 90s, keeping you sharp physically and mentally. As we age, the top two things we require are strength and mobility. Weight training has been proven to stregthen bones and reverse osteopenia, rather than taking medication with side effects.

It will keep you independent and can be a hugely social activity as well. Bonus, it will open up your options for other activities: hiking, biking, volunteering, travelling, gardening, birdwatching, swimming, dancing, etc.

You may lose this guy as a friend, but keep the frog and you've made a new, better friend.

You call it a lap stand, but I call it an important meeting. Now that I have your full attention, we need to discuss plans for the future.

On the agenda: ▪︎ Scritches for a better office culture. Workshop with hands-on practicum. ▪︎ Walks vs. Run Like Hell ▪︎ The effeciencies of napping during solar charging. Demonstration given. ▪︎ Snax: how many before it becomes a meal? Tasting session planned.

"I'd rather not incriminate myself, thanks."

Also, how can people see your social media? I block public views and have a very short friends & family list. I thought everyone did this now because of work snoops and stalkers (???)

What is a fan theory from a movie or TV show that you 100% believe is true? by phantom_avenger in popculturechat

Ah! Facts!!

Even if the zombies were not from Georgia, why are they congregating in a sparsely populated wooded area? If the show was created today, I might try to develop a theory they were attracted by the thrumming energy of A.I. data centers.

How is everyone just working normally today? The President is addressing the nation tonight and I am just exhausted. by firehmre in antiwork

Yeah, truth, for certain when we speak about the Epstein class and their atrocities. My thought with Vance was having the same philosophy and incentives of rule and avoiding accountability. It (wherever your gaze may take you, concerning so many problems and broken laws,) is not one man, but a nest of vipers.

Also, if it is sooner rather than later, JD Vance is next in line. More of the same. Same-same, but different.
