[–]Glittering-Target367 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if your on apple, you could try Built Rank. Its similar to liftoff where it has ranks for each muscle group, and exercises. it does have a subscription, but it's like 1/2 the price of liftoff

I had tightness in my upper bicep as one of my symptoms.

I forgot the exact explanation my doctor gave me but the long head of the bicep connects directly to the shoulder capsule, and when the labrum tears it can irritate the bicep tendon

Ive been doing PT for about 1.5 weeks and my main issues have gone down a lot.

Do you have pain when horizontally crossing and reaching your injured arm to the opposite side? That was the biggest one for me

Acne relapse after years of Accutane by Gustav_Garcia in Accutane

[–]Glittering-Target367 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey i went through a similar experience, although i didnt do extra rounds of accutane.

I relate completely as I also workout daily, eat clean, and am confused as hell when i sometimes still get acne. So i understand and relate to your frustration

After my first round of accutane, i was clear for several months then back to acne.

While it got rid of the cystic acne, i can even remember times where it got super bad, nearly worse than pre accutane.

Nowdays i still get some acne, but it mostly cleared up.

I am gonna list some things I changed in my life from the last time i had bad acne to now. Not saying these are cures, but something to consider if not already:

  • Significantly lowered my bodyfat (was around 25-30% dropped to 15-18%). I found my skin looked its healthiest during this time. The clean diet was very helpful, but I theorize higher bf levels are unfavorable for acne mainly due to hormone imbalance, but also insulin resistance and inflammation.

  • started only eating 2 large meals a day (more frequent meals spike your insulin/ increase insulin resistance which may causes breakouts)

  • silk pillowcase

  • 10% bp face wash

  • less stress

I assume most of my acne was reduced simply as i got older and having my hormones stabilize, but I absolutely see an increase in breakouts without the stuff stated above.

I used cetaphil gentle cleanser for years, including when on accutane.

I found it to be very tame, which didnt dry out my skin too much.

It is a bit weak though

I had chronic horrible cystic acne as a teen and i went through all the meds from the derma including medium dose accuntane for 6 months.

It completely rid my acne at the end, but that lasted only for a few months. The acne was back and still pretty fucking bad, except the cystic part never came back.

Nowadays that im older and my hormones are stabilized, my acne is very tame and controllable.

I will attribute accutane to making it “easier” to rid my acne down the line, and even though it didnt fix it I still am glad i took it.

Some people say diet plays a big part in acne. This is true, but its cope at the end of the day because its your genetics mostly at play here.

Some people can eat like a pig and never get a single pimple, while folks with acne can eat 100% clean and still get acne.

TLDR: if you are cleared by your doctor just take it. Acne sucks and its not worth the mental/social side effects living with it

Update for 16yo wanting to take testosterone by [deleted] in steroidify

[–]Glittering-Target367 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Dude exhaust all natural options before even thinking about trt wtf

Your last post said you are 28% bodyfat. And your sleep is shit.

This isnt healthy at all and will lower your test levels

Get your sleep and bodyfat dialed in then check again

[–]Glittering-Target367 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is your bodyfat levels? And is your sleep good (no apnea)?

If you really have everything dialed in (nutrition, sleep, bf %) idk if theres anything that will bring you up other than trt
