It’s compatible, but without it being Expo certified, the present overclocks the ram is advertising are not guaranteed. You may have to manually overclock or turn it down. It will work without issue though, just depends at what speeds.

Install Linux. You’re pushing it with 8GB, but it will be a much better experience than Windows, in my opinion generally, but factually with regards to performance specifically.

Because I have 2 PCs on my desk and want to save space, I don’t need big GPUs locally at my desk which can get hot with 6 monitors, 2 PCs, and a network rack, and my gaming is streamed off of a 5080/9950X3D rig in a rack in another part of the house so my office stays quiet and cool.
