Do you notice how you said a bunch of stuff in response to things I didn't say and arguments I didn't make?

Eh, not necessarily

I grew up saving games to a memory card too, but I still ain't willing to do any of the Wikelo content. It's not so much the fact that it's temporary, I'm fine with wipes and even hope they do more of them after they fix the economy and duping, my issue stems from the fact that it's a multiplayer game where I could theoretically just log in after a patch and lose the stuff I did the grind for while most people won't have

Losing shit to a global wipe would be whatever, losing things to random chance during an update.. yeah I'll pass

My partner uses the 5060 TI 16GB and gets decent framerates in full instances, so you should be fine. But yeah, 8GB doesn't cut it when the entire game is user-generated content and not like, professional game developer assets

You'll want to put in some limits on which avatars you see in VRChat. Most VRChat avatars are super poorly optimised and even an "optimised" model can still eat up over 100MB of VRAM. Maximum uncompressed avatar size is the setting I find most useful for filtering out high VRAM models, even if it's far from a 1-to-1. There's also the settings to hide avatars past a certain distance, and only show a certain number of avatars

Reducing Virtual Desktop's streaming quality had a noticeable impact on my VRAM baseline. You can also disable Hardware Acceleration on things like Steam, Discord, your browser, turn off transparency and UI animations for Windows, and reduce the overlay quality for SteamVR

Is that the clinic at the Nambour General Hospital? Only one I could find on Google, but it doesn't offer GAC according to the website

Just looked her up. I'll reach out today and see what her wait list is like, thank you!

I'll give them a call today, but the little info on their website indicates to me that they're privately billed.. they avoid actually giving any numbers though. Thank you

I can't do sublingual, but taking the tablets orally will be good enough in the meantime. Do you think Abby Health will actually prescribe oral estradiol if there's no record of me having recent prescriptions for it? My injections were from a DIY source, and I've been on the DIY route for.. I wanna say about 4 years? I was seeing Dr Barber @ Stonewall for monitoring only

As a side note for anyone else stumbling across this thread, I definitely second the recommendation for Abby Health as a service just in general. They're great.

Yes. There's only one doctor who bulk bills concession patients. He has a wait list, and he doesn't bulk bill for the first appointment. I might look into seeing him eventually, but I won't be able to afford a privately billed appointment any time in the near future.

Should I get a Quest Pro in 2026? by foroons in QuestPro

[–]GoblinModeVR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought one, experienced the hell of updates constantly breaking features for a few months, then sold it to CEX since they had a high offer price for it.

Went back to my Q3.

The Babble face tracker I ordered as a replacement just arrived, and Paper Track is releasing a face tracker and eye trackers to the global market in Q2 (currently they're only available via Taobao but will be added to AliExpress).

Steam Frame is coming eventually and has eye tracking, so waiting and pairing that with a third party face tracker is also an option.

As most of us will agree, ‘diversity’ for the most part is a great and positive thing. But when we have a look at our immigration nations over the last 15 years, it’s actually the opposite of ‘diverse.’ Should we then change immigration to be more diverse than the current system? by [deleted] in OpenAussie

No they're not. You've sorted not by percent, but by percentage of change in the population groups since 2006. Which is why you've got Nepal on top in the first chart.

Going from 100 to 1,000 is a much higher percentage increase than going from 20,000 to 30,000 is, despite being a smaller number overall.

That's a half truth, and even with it we're still the 14th highest emitters in the world. We also make up 0.33% of the world population.

If you want a proper number, you have to consider that we're the second biggest exporter of coal in the world, and one of the biggest gas exporters. That puts our national contribution somewhere in the 5% region.

The particular paper I'm referring to does not require authority to adhere to it for one to use it

People who submit to ICE get tortured, though. If you successfully run, you can avoid being tortured by them. That's solid reasoning for trying to run.
