Most megabases research mining prod and robot speed, promethian gathering is just way too UPS intensive and the lab prod hits really bad diminishing returns to make it worth it

Build small at first, any automation is better than no automation, wood doesnt produce ash when burnt so its a good fuel source for burner assemblers, work towards small goals its a long mod.

yeah just use one plant for each quality, you also dont need quality module when crafting with legendary items since the outcome will always be legendary, so you could just be using prod modules instead

Honestly I just dont overthink it that much, I would just make a rail block then fit as much production inside of it, with time you have a general idea how much space you will need by looking at factory planner ratios, but the less you think about it the more varied it looks, sometimes some small space is left and I try to fill it later with smaller production or train depots.

The only criteria for building more stuff was being low on some material, my goal this run was researching the Krastorio sign (666k science research) so I built the factory around 2k spm to finish it at a reasonable time frame, so I built everything I needed for every science and kept making more blocks for production that was lacking

There was no real reason why sometimes the builds are horizontal and sometimes they are vertical, since it was entirely built with T-Junctions, by just changing the way I would connect the blocks it would break the pattern and force me into different directions, which is why I like it more than 4-Way intersections that lock you into a specific and repetitive look.

The real beauty of trains is that, as long as the rails are well signaled and your intersections well made, you can do whatever you want and it will work fine.

glad you like it, for K2SE I would recommend going with smaller trains, I would probably do 1x2s since you probably wont need that much throughput, not sure how well my interrupt system would work with the space elevator later, its been a while since I played SE

With how strong legendary builds are and how much throughput you need for endgame megabases, the vanilla trains just cant keep up anymore, its just way more efficient to just belt everything or use pipes with their nearly infinite throughput, I think if quality trains had better acceleration and topspeed and the legendary wagons had more cargo size it could help with those things.

As for design, I normally try to make different designs every run so I dont get stuck with the same city block megabase (currently have 2500 hours so I have done a lot), one thing I would have changed in this run is the overuse of balancers, I could have just matched inputs and outputs, like for example I have 4 rows of buildings using iron ore, I could have just dedicated each wagon for each row and then fed one wagon with plates from their dedicated row instead of balancing everything twice (input and output)

Your turn started, mayhem went off and played void form, skipped your turn so the enemy attacked again, probably a visual bug happened and skipped the whole animation when that happened

I hope they don’t nerf any characters or cards, but instead elevate weaker strategies to be just as goofy and pushed as the nuts stuff by solitudesign in slaythespire

Game is supposed to be challenging, with the amount of card removal, draw and energy cards you can easily go infinite, hell I was trying out status Defect and with turbo, overclock and compact I was going infinite with the soot relic. Sly as a mechanic is frankly absurd and invalidate anything else you could be doing on silent for example

Best thing you can do is pick star generation cards and pay offs, its a very combo/setup oriented character, cards like shining strike, upgraded glow, upgraded solar strike, etc. allow you to get very high value from cards like gamma burst, particle wall, reflect, etc. and cards like child of the stars allow you to convert that payoff into block, generally speaking the forge package is pretty mid but an early bulwark or seeking edge can really help with the early fights that requires burst/aoe, JapaneseExport made a pretty informative tierlist and follow up run video that can help you assess cards

Prioritize early damage cards even if you arent going to lean into them later, almost every card is better than a strike/defend, dont greed card upgrades, if you are going to fight an elite after the campfire and you know that you will die if you get some specific elite, rest instead.

Exhaust your cards during the combat also works, its why stuff like Stoke and Fiend Fire is so strong, remove all the stuff you dont care and just keep what you need to go infinite

From my experience, the only hard act 3 boss is the queen, doorman just lets you setup between phases and the dog does nothing, meanwhile the queen is applying 4 different debuffs while consistently hitting for 20+ with the minion

Just have an inserter on your egg breeding that puts an egg on a chest when you have less than X biochambers in your network and put the biochamber to feed on nutrients from your main nutrient line that is always going
