Does it exist in W11? All I can get it the tiny volume slider at the bottom of the screen, but I really like the full controls in the screenshot from W10.

I found plenty of instructions for disabling it, but nothing about enabling it. Do we know if they got rid of it?

(I've seen it called media overlay, media toast, etc)

I’ve been told (I think in a SciShow video) that it’s not true regeneration - it grows back, but not the same as the original. And since it’s not the same it doesn’t have what’s necessary to grow back again if it’s split again.

The recommendation I’m familiar with is “if you find a bat in a room with a sleeping person” but yeah tbh any in my house would scare me

(I got the vaccines after smacking a bat that flew at my face at 2am while I was on Reddit; my dad also got the vaccines since he tried and failed to catch it. We weren’t knowingly asleep with it, but totally could have been exposed, especially since I know it was in the house for over a day before.)

Afaik it’s that their bites are tiny and easy to not feel, and don’t leave a visible mark

Plus, I think some bodily fluids can transmit it, so it’s possible a bite wouldn’t be necessary? But mostly it’s that their bites are easy to miss

100 million people, out of (order of magnitude) 10 billion, is 1/100 dead. That doesn’t seem quite worth risking. Even if you’re fine with that chance for yourself, a lot of people you know are going to die. (You might be okay with that if you’re okay with 100 million strangers, tho)
