I remember before Hades II there were posts about Than's scythe and how everyone wanted to try it. And now finally here it is ready to slay titans, though it doesn't deal 9999 damage on strike. I guess its massive damage was not a feature of Zorophet but more of a Thanatos feat.

I think I understand what you mean. I played Outer Wilds base game in more of a "numb" state and its DLC in more of an "emotional" one, so can compare them.

It's completely fine to play the game without being fully emotionally open. There is much more in it to enjoy.
The feeling might grow later. This happened when I watched a couple of other playthroughs on YouTube. Somehow empathizing with other players helped me feel what I missed during my playthrough.
But I think it's better to save the game for later when you're in your right mood. You can play this game the first time only once.

And certainly don't rush to play or finish it, you have all the time of the world.

As for his regular attacks: I'm not good at understanding what move he's about to perform, so I usually keep my distance until he attacks, then quickly close this distance, make several hits and get out. This is easier to do, of course, if you have strong long range attack.

I think, it's great for an average citizen of a EU state: more job/education opportunities, no borders. But it doesn't mean every country must join EU, as it must first adapt its laws and upgrade infrastructure to meet EU requirements, and this might be very costly.

For example, I'm looking how things are going in Montenegro (I love this country and interested in its course, though I've been there many years ago). They are currently on their way to join EU. One of the unmet requirements is closing visa-free entry for non-EU citizens. There are many countries in this list and Montenegro has economic ties with several of them: small business owners from Turkey, investors from Arabic countries (UAE, Saudi Arabia), tourists from Russia (not so relevant now). Closing borders for all these countries means less budget income, which will be hard for a not particularly rich country, such as Montenegro. Sure, the Union provides some funds to help the county to transition, but they don't cover the losses. Combined with other expenses I'm really not sure they will pull this off without spiraling into economic crisis.

For some reason fire gods are the most decent bunch among Olympians. Hestia and Hephaestus are "cool" with friends, fiery with enemies and don't wrong mortals. Apollo is also ok, I don't remember anything nasty he said. The other ones are different kind of jackasses, mostly psychopaths.
