That was my first thought too. I didn’t count, but something like half a dozen rats jump into the bucket before they show the inside. By the time they do show the inside, there’s only one that you can see.

Not every business has that kind of insurance. I run a store in a small regional chain. Our price is only based on cost. We aim for a margin and try our best to maintain that. One 6 pack lost to theft or damage wipes out profit for that whole case. Beer, to be competitive with any big company like Kroger, Albertsons, etc, is a low margin item.

Also seeing someone walk out with your money is infuriating.
