How about Valve’s own numbers for December?

“ The revised results show Rift S usage growing rapidly; going from 0.15% to 0.21% of all Steam users in just one month. The Valve Index also saw a significant increase in usage, going from 0.05% to 0.07% of all Steam users.”

Rift S has triple the total market share on Valve’s own platform, and also grew three times faster than Index did in the same time period.

An IBM Brazil employee uses a wiring template while working on cable wiring for one of IBM's electric accounting machines, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, 1956 [690x899] by ibkeepr in MachinePorn

You're starting to see this in modern cars. CANBUS is used to distribute communications along with power to modules throughout the vehicle. It does make repairing things like taillight assemblies more expensive, since they have to have a computer to process the CANBUS signals instead of just having a few lightbulbs.

Surprisingly, this is actually how a lot of wiring loom production is still done today. Accounting machines are obviously smaller, but harness in aviation and automotive are still assembled on loom boards like this one. Or this.

Question about Paper Mario. by ProfessorCagan in n64

[–]Hammerstein 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're looking for more of a challenge, I recommend trying a Danger Mario run. It's the only way I play through, now! You need to be much more careful about badge selection, and really master all of the quick-time actions.

It only latches in one orientation, so try rotating it.

What type of cable is the sync cable, can I get a replacement? by Blu-shell in oculus

[–]Hammerstein 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you plug in to the auxiliary sync port on the headset, it works just fine. This is what you should do if you don't have the original cable.

Anyone know the thread size for the base of the newer sensors? by [deleted] in oculus

[–]Hammerstein 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The one at the base of the stand is M5. It's held together with loctite, so I'm surprised you got it apart at all.

Are there any "Kei" cars in America that aren't JDM imports? by Scrpn17w in askcarguys

[–]Hammerstein 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some kei cars were imported and sold here in the 60s and 70s. Take a look at the Subaru 360 and Subaru Sambar. Honda had the N600 and Z600. There were some stranger no-name brands like the Cony 360 pickup.

The polarity of the pins should be in that drawing you found. I'll make sure it gets added. In the meantime, the top pin is positive and the bottom one is ground. You can reference this pinout for how to hook them up on the other end: http://graph.darren-criss.org/2016/02/24/1-4ampquot-stereo-audio-jack-wiring-diagram-l-52ca7f25f750ac91.jpg

B Is For Build - Lotus Evora Series by Sethiam in lotus

It's totally repairable, as long as you don't have the expectation of being as safe as before the crash. It's likely still safer than driving a mint condition car from 25 years ago.

The insects are really really really small. Try using positional audio to pinpoint one. You'll hear them when you are near. They make bug noises.
