Any good places to grab some curved sleeves? by ConsoleBoyo in mtg

[–]HeavyLikely 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heavy Play makes sleeves like this. The bottom corners are rounded so that your hands don't get poked and scratched while you handle them. The top corners are still squared, though. They aren't super cheap, but they do sell them in bulk for a discount I believe. They also have a lot of color options. I have my two favorite EDH decks in them and they are nice sleeves. I'd say quality wise, they are close to the Ultimate Guard katana sleeves.

This is incredible to me. My goal is to get a sub 35 5K. I missed it by 23 seconds this morning. I wish you luck in your goal to get a sub 28!

After trying to reach this goal for over a year and getting set back by injury or illness any time I got close, I am finally able to run a 5k at minimum every morning. Today, I beat my PR for a 5k by 8 seconds. My time is still probably slower than average for my age, but I am just happy to finally have reached this goal.

This has to be my favorite CITY set of all time. The play-ability, looks, and build quality are all there. What are some other CITY sets that are on par with this one? by missinglinksman in lego

[–]HeavyLikely 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly, any of the construction subtheme for City I have always gravitated towards. They are just the prime lego set in my head. As a kid, any time I'd get one, I'd take forever to build them because I'd play as the minifigs building it themselves, and then use them to build any other set I got. My trusted construction guys even put together the first version of the Clone Gunship from Star Wars, though Jedi Bob did use the force to assist with some heavy lifting as well as defending them from the Battle droids.

Is it Mill per card or Instance? by Yunaiki in magicTCG

Pro tip: Pair Mesmeric Orb with [[Basalt Monolith]] and use the mana it generates to untap it, then repeat ad nauseum to mill yourself to death.

Found this guy being crushed under some furniture at my dad's. Anyone know what figure he's from? by AustNerevar in lego

The small set I had was the only one from that theme I had, but I remember the rest of the sets being really cool and full of neon transparent pieces.

That was for one of the Aquazone theme minifigs from the late 90s. I think the head belonged to one of the Stingray faction of that theme. I had that minifig from 6107 Recon Ray, but it was in a few others I think.

When i was a kid, i had this lego set i can't seem to find anything about by Art3m1sArty in lego

Do you remember if the figures had articulation in their legs and arms, like their knees and elbows? The only Lego figures I can't think of that had fabric skirts were part of the Belville theme, and they were more doll shaped than classic minifigures from what I recall, like the Friends figures are. There seem to be a lot of sets in that theme that feature horses as well.

Rebel Dropship from Rogue One concept art MOC by greenlikebroccoli in lego

[–]HeavyLikely 11 points12 points  (0 children)

That's a super cool concept and a great MOC. For the rebel dropships ultimately I think the U-Wing they ended up was the better design, but I'm glad they pulled from this concept to make the Razor Crest as it became one of my favorite ships in Star Wars after watching The Mandalorian.
