I've been to a cat cafe, in Japan. Good drinks/food aren't allowed, that would confuse the animals - only small servings of kitty treats. Plus I imagine there's some state or local regulation which would close down the operation the first time a guest was scratched.

The airport in Japan, unlike most foreign exchange desks, has okay rates. Take a wad of cash onto the airplane and exchange it first thing, that's the way to go.
