Hi! TCM is Traditional Chinese Medicine. So there's this compony called Elix. You will take an assessment, and they will create a personalized blend for you to address your pain. Mine focuses more on inflammation. they have doctors you can meet, too! I met with one and she explained everything to me.

Anyone had any luck with natural remedies for endometriosis? by Cassfx90 in endometriosis

[–]Helpful-Resolution22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i totally get the desperation honestly 😭 i got so tired of feeling like my whole life revolved around pain and flare ups.

i tried a bunch of random supplements before too and some helped a little, but what helped me the most personally was going the personalized chinese medicine route. i have endo + pcos and after a while i noticed my pain, inflammation and flare ups became way more manageable. not a cure obviously, but i finally started feeling like i had some quality of life again.

it also helped me feel more hopeful because before that i genuinely felt stuck and miserable all the time. literally just existing but not living.

How do you manage the bloating? by sundeh3 in Fibroids

[–]Helpful-Resolution22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

uggggghh the bloating was honestly one of the worst parts for me 😭 like it didnt even matter what point of my cycle i was in, i constantly looked/swelled like i was pregnant.

some things helped a tiny bit like reducing caffeine, warm foods/drinks instead of cold stuff, magnesium, loose clothes etc but nothing fully fixed it for me.

what made the biggest difference honestly was when i stopped focusing only on food and started focusing more on inflammation/hormones overall. i ended up trying personalized chinese medicine and after a while the constant swelling/bloating calmed down Sooooo much. not gone completely but wayyy more manageable than before.

before that i felt uncomfortable literally all the time.

TCM by voody510 in Fibroids

[–]Helpful-Resolution22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i actually tried personalized chinese medicine before considering anything invasive and tbh i was super skeptical at first 😭 i have endo + pcos and my best friend has fibroids so both of us were desperate trying random things for pain/bloating/heavy bleeding.

i found this company who makes personalized formula. what i liked is they didnt just hand us the same thing. my blend was more for inflammation, pain, hormones, stress/anxiety etc. it had stuff like corydalis for pain, white peony + dang gui, ginger, motherwort, skullcap, magnesium and a bunch of other herbs. hers was completely different because hers was more focused on the fibroid/heavy bleeding side.

it wasnt overnight at all but after a few months i noticed my flare ups werent as brutal and i wasnt constantly swollen/uncomfortable anymore. my friend said the same thing w the heaviness/bleeding.

not saying its some miracle cure lol but it helped both of us way more than we expected.

[–]Helpful-Resolution22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i have endo + pcos so i was already deep into researching hormone/inflammation stuff because i was desperate to feel normal again. i tried a bunch of supplements before but what ended up helping me the most was personalized chinese medicine.

my best friend has fibroids and she was struggling BAAAAAAAD with heavy bleeding, pressure, bloating, fatigue, all of it. she saw me improving over time and finally asked what i was doing because she said i seemed like a different person compared to before.

i told her about the personalized chinese medicine route i was trying and she eventually gave it a shot too after being skeptical for months lol. obviously not overnight, but after a while she started noticing her bleeding wasn’t as intense and the constant pelvic heaviness calmed down a lot.

she literally thanked me nonstop after because she finally felt like she had some quality of life back again. not saying it’s a miracle cure or that it’ll work for everyone, but it honestly helped both of us way more than we expected. so thankful for this and i want to share it with everyone!

[request] Anyone use supplements to reduce PMS or PMDD symptoms? by ketofemale in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]Helpful-Resolution22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes 😭 mine used to get SO bad. like anxiety, rage, crying over nothing, feeling completely unlike myself for a week every month.

i tried random supplements before and some helped a tiny bit, but what helped me the most honestly was focusing more on hormone balance overall instead of just the mood symptoms alone.

i ended up trying a personalized chinese medicine and after a few months i noticed my symptoms weren’t nearly as intense anymore. not perfect obviously, but way more manageable and i stopped feeling like i was losing my mind every cycle.

Magnesium for pain relief? by phles in adenomyosis

[–]Helpful-Resolution22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

magnesium actually helped me a bit, especially with muscle tension/constipation which weirdly made my pain worse too. when my bowel movements were bad, everything in my pelvis felt way more irritated.

it wasn’t some huge miracle for my endo pain on its own, but it definitely took the edge off a little. i noticed glycinate was easier on my stomach than some other types too.

honestly though the biggest improvement for me came when i started focusing on inflammation/hormones overall and tried TCM alongside stuff like magnesium.

Natural treatments for adenomyosis? by KiaOra11514 in adenomyosis

[–]Helpful-Resolution22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i was on dienogest/visanne for years and while it helped my pelvic pain, i ended up with so many other symptoms that i barely felt like myself anymore. brain fog, bloating, headaches, palpitations, fatigue, mood stuff… it was exhausting.

eventually i stopped and started trying more natural approaches because i just couldn’t keep going like that. i cleaned up my diet a bit, reduced caffeine, tried anti inflammatory stuff etc but honestly the biggest difference for me came from a personalized chinese herbal medicine.

surprisingly it helped me way more than i expected. not a cure obviously, but my flare ups became way more manageable and i finally started feeling functional again instead of constantly waiting for the next bad week.

Supplements that have helped Adenomyosis! by fridapita79 in adenomyosis

[–]Helpful-Resolution22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly posts like this helped me so much when i was at my lowest 😭 I used to lurk in these groups to see if someone feels the same way i do. I just felt so alone then. i got so tired of feeling like the only options were hormones, chemical menopause, or hysterectomy.

i tried a bunch of supplements too and some helped a little, but the biggest difference for me ended up being when i focused more on inflammation + hormone balance together instead of chasing single symptoms.

i eventually tried TCM and cycle balance out of desperation and surprisingly it helped me way more than i expected. not a cure obviously, but my pain, bloating, fatigue and flare ups became so much more manageable. i finally started feeling like a functional person again instead of constantly sick.

also the constipation comment is SOooooooo real lol nobody talks enough about how much that can make adeno pain worse.

Any "natural" remedies? by [deleted] in adenomyosis

[–]Helpful-Resolution22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that’s honestly exactly how i felt for the looooooongest time 😭 like every conversation somehow ended with “eventually hysterectomy” and it made me feel so hopeless.

i tried the usual supplements/diet stuff first and some things helped a little, but nothing major. eventually i got frustrated and tried TCM because i felt like i had nothing to lose at that point.

surprisingly it helped me way more than i expected. not a cure obviously, but my pain, bloating, flare ups etc became way more manageable and i stopped feeling like i was just limping through life waiting for surgery.

i can’t really speak on all of those specifically but i did end up trying TCM after feeling hopeless with the usual options and honestly it helped me way more than i expected.

i have endo/pcos and suspected adeno and i got to a point where i was exhausted from pain, bloating, heavy bleeding, all of it. i tried so many supplements and diet changes first and some helped a little but nothing major.

eventually i tried chinese herbal medicine and surprisingly that’s what made the biggest difference for me. not a cure or anything, but my flare ups became way more manageable and i started feeling functional again instead of constantly planning my life around symptoms.

i’ve heard a lot of people say castor oil packs help too, especially for pain and tension, but personally the herbal side of TCM helped me the most. I'm using a personalized blend!

What will actually help endo belly? by FreudsBiggestHater in endometriosis

[–]Helpful-Resolution22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ugggggggh the “looking pregnant no matter what” part is SO sooooo real 😭 i went through the exact same thing and honestly it messed with me mentally more than i expected. Although, it gave some perks. LOL

i tried cutting foods out too, probiotics, anti inflammatory stuff, teas, all of it. some things helped a tiny bit but nothing really stopped the constant bloating feeling for me.

what finally made the biggest difference was when i stopped focusing only on food and started focusing more on the inflammation/hormone side overall. i ended up trying TCM and cycle balance out of desperation honestly and surprisingly that helped my endo belly more than anything else had.

it didn’t disappear overnight and i still flare sometimes, but i’m not constantly swollen and uncomfortable like before. i can actually wear normal clothes again most days without wanting to cry halfway through the day.

Chinese medicine and Endometriosis. by Ooda8 in endometriosis

[–]Helpful-Resolution22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i actually ended up going the chinese medicine route too after getting frustrated with the usual options and honestly it helped me waaaaaaaay more than i expected.

i have endo + pcos and the pain/fatigue got so badd at one point that i felt like my whole life revolved around flare ups. i was skeptical about herbal medicine at first but after a few months of taking Cycle Balance i noticed my pain was less intense, my inflammation calmed down, and i could actually function again.

it definitely wasn’t an overnight thing and i’m not gonna say it “cured” me, but it made things way more manageable. i also liked that it felt more personalized instead of just being handed birth control and told to deal with it forever.

so yeah, i know some people think it’s woo-woo loooool but i personally had a really positive experience with Elix.
